I'm excited to read Sword Catcher now. It has just sat on my shelf ever since it came out. As you liked the Eyes are the Best Part, I really recommend Chlorine by Jade Song if you haven't already read that one. It's a sapphic coming of age horror story about a swimmer's increasing obsession with mermaids and it was in my top ten books of last year.
A lot of these are on my tbr so I better get to reading 😂 I agree I need more books like throne of glass, I feel like it’s actually hard to find any. Something that has magic, a good mystery, romance, interesting plot and good character depth. The only thing that I’ve read that kind of reminds me of it is Priory of the Orange Tree!
I agree priory is amazing, but it still lacked that something something. I think the beach scene in EOS (if you know you know) was like one of my fav scenes ever, and I just can't find any romance in epic fantasy that comes close
highly recommending the war of lost hearts trilogy by carissa broadbent to both of you! there’s truly nothing that comes close to throne of glass in my heart, but thematically I feel like it’s very similar without feeling like a copy. similar tone but very different story. the characters are AMAZING, I still think about them daily 🥹
The best read for me is by far the self published Throne in the Dark by AK Caggiano - I haven't laughed this much in years, honestly. I highly highly recommend 😊
I really liked The Spellshop but my fav find/read was Rebecca Thorne's Can't Spell Treason without Tea. I enjoyed Crier's War too. Sequel was pretty good, Legends and the prequel were very good. I really do rec Treason and its sequel (book 3 comes out in March, bk 4 in Aug.) I think bk 2 is better than the Legends prequel!
@@Wanderness I hope you pick it up soon! Honestly, it's stuck to me since I read it and the sequel, A Pirate's Life for Tea. Both of them had and it's rare that a book does that!
Long Live Evil in the adult Fairyloot box was my favourite book of the year by far! Absolutely amazing!
THIS IS SO HIGH ON MY TBR 😄😄😄😄
Your videos have been really cheering me up as Christmas is a lonely time for me :)
I think you’d like the Heaven’s Official Blessing series
I only read books with GR rating of 3.8 and higher. No time for bad books for me, the TBR list is neverending.. 🥰

Thank you for the recommendation for Chlorine! Found the audiobook on Spotify premium :)
yessss love theoretically!
if you liked that huge series you should enjoy... finishing acotar
The spellshop was a perfect cozy fantasy
I bought this a few weeks ago in Waterstones triple points period 😁
I've got criers war, written in the stars and legends & latters sitting on my shelves waiting to be read. Guess I need to bump them up the list 😁
Swordcatcher is stuck on my TBR for over a year now. Beyond the black door sounds intriguingly good!
It's well worth trying!! BTBD is a standalone too so great for a quick read :)
@@Wanderness sold! 😂 need to wrestle my unread books first.
@@SweeeetLovex3 Ya same 🤣 here lol. I'm such a procrastinator sometimes. So ya... I'll get there.

I loved the Sword Catcher ❤
Can't wait for book 2 too :)
Agree, I just have to find an English copy, because the Ragpicker King sounds really stupid in Hungarian 😂 I just can’t take it seriously
I enjoyed Love Theoretically as well.
Ali Hazelwood is quickly becoming a staple for me
@@Wanderness Mine too. I'm looking forward to her latest book.

I don't actually have Treason, so will add it to my list of books to look out for in the sales :)
