But if Mattel wanted to make an add-on kit with the Grayskull Tower bridge, weapon rack / barrier, tower clips, and two more monorail motors with three motor cannons that plug in like they're supposed to, that would make it even better. Because your version with all three monorail cars going at once looks FANTASTIC!

"Get a room" 🤣 Both amazing play sets! There was a boxed vintage Eternia at Sandown toy fair, and in the car park as I was about to head home, I saw a guy carrying it on his shoulder 👀Great video Scuba, nice side by side comparison and I learnt loads! 👍

Absolutely loved this video and thanks for the advice and putting me at ease about the track! 😂😂 (Although I did wince a bit when you demonstrated the toughness of the new plastic!!) Both vintage and origins have their own unique little differences so I can't say which is best. Though I did learn a few things about the vintage one! They both are too freaking cool!!!

Lol crazy how similar yet different these sets are side by side. Great look at the sets scuba, simply incredibly. But I’ll always go vintage as it was there when I was 😂👍
I bought my, vintage eternia for 120 dollars in the 80s the know would have cost me more than 1000 dollars (Europe). Sooo if the new one is better it is a no comparison matchups cause of the different price ranges.

Hiya Space Commander! 🚀 I would use micro glue dots like these from Amazon. a.co/d/gDeGu5g Whatever you do, stay away from any superglues!!!! It will fog the bubble and ruin it.
While the original for its time was certainly a badass playset it is just not as nice as the origin imo. The modern tooling just makes it so much nicer and added play features. Both are just huge playset how rad you have both! I am on team Origins, not a dis to the vintage but, its just not as cool as the Origins.

6:21 Wait a moment! The new "viper" on the Viper Tower is a crocodile! What the heck! It doesn't resemble a snake or a viper! How is possible that nobody said somethin' about this abysmal mistake?
Well I have both and for me the vintage Eternia wins hands down. As a product of its time the design is amazing and setting the tracks aside, the quality of the material has stood the test of time. There is the nostalgia of course attached to it plus the price range for resale far exceeds the origins. The origins is all shiny and new but ultimately it is just a clone of the very rare original. Only 4000 copies of the vintage Eternia were produced globally and very few available are 100% complete. I’m very grateful to have both and also really thankful that I own a 100% complete vintage Eternia in excellent condition, so for me the pros of the vintage one which are pros that can’t be recreated far outweigh the origins one. So in my opinion that makes the vintage one superior.
