This dude along with a few others made my entire childhood. I'm actually sitting here crying because of how amazing those memories were back then when I could come home from school and watch mod reviews and play on my ps3 with my half broken headset. I'm so grateful I got to have those moments in memories to think back to because of this dude.

Dan, as a powdered snow enthusiast, here's your hacks
To not sink, use leather boots
To see if it's powdered snow, there's little blue snowflakes and grains within the design, rather than the faded blue gradient of normal snow.
Hope it helps! You might see it clearer if you know what you're looking for

also, powdered snow can’t have layered snow on top of it and can seem flat next to regular snow
Wearing any piece will be enough to not freeze if ya ok with falling into it. Leather horse armor makes horses not freeze too, but they can't walk on it.

Quick tip since you mentioned looking for the deep dark at some point. I would suggest going in with just a bed, a double chest, a stack of easy to break blocks, and a pickaxe. Since the warden is super difficult to fight or even sneak around, you might die a lot, so it’s better to have minimal stuff on you so whenever you die you don’t have to keep trying to locate your stuff. The bed would be for a close respawn point, the double chest so that you don’t have to loot everything all at once (or to keep armor and food for the trip back home) and a pickaxe in case there’s blocks you want down there. This way you can go in stress-free and not have to worry about being extra careful or loosing your stuff. Good luck Dan!

Killing pillagers now gives you a ominous potion, by drinking it you get a omen effect. so you no longer get the bad omen effect right away, you can choose when to get it. By drinking the potion in a trial chamber, the mobs that spawn become much MUCH harder, however, you can get an ominous key and unlock an ominous vault. From there, you can craft a mace with a heavy core. The heavy core can only be found in ominous vaults.

When going in the deep dark, bring LOTS of wool. Wool allows u to walk around quietly and you can use it to surround chests before u open it so it don’t make noise.

27:12 Lil tip: When you break the pots, break them with your fist. It'll drop the item and the pot. Then, if you place the pot down again and break it, you'll get another piece of loot. And repeat that until there's no more loot coming out. Not sure if it's a glitch or just a bedrock thing, but that's what I discovered when in the trial chambers.

For the powdered snow, if you wear leather boots, you dont sink, with any leather piece you dont get damaged, boots=no sinking, anything else=no damage
Leather boots you don't sink in the snow but you can still walk into it if it's in front of you so make sure to jump over all snow you see.
Also powdered snow has little crystally blue snowflakes in it while normal snow has different shades of lines through it.

For your knowledge dan: powdered snow can be walked on with leather boots and tou wont sink but ONLY with leather boots not any other mineral. Hope this helped and i love your content been watching for years now. Keep it up ❤️

hey dan just a tip on how to save your food, what i would do is wait till i’ve lost all the hunger hearts that the food i have heals me until i eat it, instead of what you do is u lose a small amount of hunger and then you eat food that can give you 4-5 hunger points

yo dan! the different discs in tricky trials are Creator(music box version), Creator(Normal Version), and Precipice. Creator(music box version, the orange one with the yellow center) is rarely dropped by trial chamber pots. The normal version of creator(the blue disc with a yellow center), is rarely dropped from ominous vaults,, and precipice is rarely dropped by regular vaults

And regardless, he used the compass wrong as if it were a normal one anyways. Pointing the needle towards northwest sets you off north east. You have to point north, then turn more west, which points the needle towards northeast

Ive been watching Dan for my whole childhood and my brothers are just getting into watching Dan.(I almost cried)
For the sinking in the snow problem:
You only sink in the powdered snow, not the normal snow block or snow layer (they have a slightly different texture if you look closely).
If navigating around them is too tedious then you can jump across it while placing blocks under you (as you did) or just wear leather boots to be able to simply walk across it without sinking.

Quick tip for next time, in the big room of the trial chamber that has the water, there is a secret under the middle platform. (It doesn’t always spawn though)
What do you mean? Are you talking about the chest with cake?
@@paxdamaxgaming4920 I don’t really know because I haven’t personally done a chamber yet, but in his stream a few days ago, the devs said there was loot under the middle platform.
@@That_Nugget_Man maybe but I’ve looted multiple and never found anything under there and the devs did also say that you can find trail chamber maps in trial chambers in that same livestream and that is not in the loot table so it might not be in the game yet?

A quick tip for your walls for your very safe bridge: you can place string on top of the walls to make the walls have that castle ridge look! :D
To deal with the powdered snow, you just gotta craft some leather boots. Also, the treasure map isn’t bugged, you gotta make the map bigger till you see the X :)
No it is bugged, all treasurer maps I seen are pre-make (you don't have to click on them) and have the X on them from the start
Yea it is a bug where it sometimes fail to load them properly.
