isn't this a 1964 model with vol vol tone black plastic knobs opposed to the two metal knobs on the 1962. There's difference in the necks as well isn't it?
Are those flatwounds in the beginning? Because if I’m really watching a sunburst 62RI Jazz w/covers being demoed with and without pick, with flats and rounds, and through a variety of old school and modern amp solutions, then somebody has been reading my dream journal
@@amonster8mymother i think they made them for a few years in the early 80's in Fullerton CA, where they made them in the 60's. Then they had reissued them again in the 90's both an MIA version and a Japanese RI which was cheaper and got great reviews
@@rrdream2400 I played one at a friends jam session. He told me it was John Paul Jones' I told him he was yanking me and it must be a reissue but what year? I don't know. 😁
@@amonster8mymother Jones played a real 1962 on most of the Zep albums. He still has it. Great tone. Some guys swear by those 83 Fullertone reissues because they were made in the same factory with some of the same people as the originals.I sold mine many years ago and ended up with a 76 Jazz bass, they have a different sound to them.
every sound type of sound is really good on this bass if its slap fingering or pick anything u can get any tone i want one so bad or a 70 something

+Martin Nestorov thay did started making 3 knob versions in 1962
Is this a Custon Shop model...? The regular '62 AVR model in 1994 was the stack knob version. Or have you changed the control plate yourself?
Maybe this is the fender japan one
Well done! Really enjoyed your playing
Great Jazz Bass Fender.
The bass line on 1:35 sounds me familiar.... what is it???
Mateusz comes up with all the basslines in his videos

Rounds throughout the whole vid?
You have a new sub.

What strings are you using on this bass?
Great !
Where is the grounding strip on this bass? It should be visible between the bridge and the bridge pickup. Killer sounds, though! Love it.
removed and cable gous inside
@@mateuszpiotrowski Did you find that this cut down on the hum/buzz situation?
@@winstontk It has nothing to do with that
Where can i get tabs for those riffs!
+Joshua Gabriel-Black Use ears:)
Joshua Gabriel-Black it's not like you could clearly hear only the bass alone..

Hi. its body is basswood? this model is for 58 yen in the catalog ' 94?
i don't remember the wood
What year was the 62 reissued? 1994?
I think they first came out in 1983. I bought one used in the mid 80's.
@@rrdream2400 was there a mid-90s reissue?

Why did you remove the bridge cover after a few riffs? Could you not play what you did with it on?
i Cant play with it - its there just for looks
It's hard to play near of the bridge with that covee, looks great with that bridge but is not so great to play with that thing
That thing sounds llike a guitar. Bottom it up.
