Yeah, it kind of sapped the positive vibes I had going into this. I can totally get not liking the character (im not particularly big on Deathstroke myself) but having read his comics over the years, it's unfair to his actual fans to call him "Combat Killer Guy". Dude is a family man who at one point even tried to redeem himself for the sake of his children and was willing to alter reality just for the chance to save his long dead son. Even took a crack at being a hero/anti-hero for a time.
DC is already known for making their non-powered characters obscenely strong, and even by that metric, Deathstroke is an absolute beast. I’m gonna like this one.

That's actually more absurd than "I speak every languages, all 7000+ of them." When fully immersed in a culture (such as moving to Paris) you can become proficient in the local language in just a couple months without having a particular talent for languages, but in most belt-using styles it takes a minimum of 5 years to gain a black belt.
I'm living for Tulok just casually pitching the greatest character idea ever because now all I can think about is a deadly assassin who exclusively takes jobs to pay for their expensive culinary tastes.
The problem with Deathstroke is the numerous iterations of the character. Marv Wolfman who created Deathstroke, made him a Namor type of villain, a bad guy but with a degree of honor. He's really the anti-Batman. Complete with a British servant, although both men wouldn't describe it like that. Later writers removed any of the nuance in the character and just made him Murder Man. There is an argument for Battlemaster instead of Champion for the fighter subtype because he often studies his opponents before attacking. (See the Judas Contract, best comic story arc ever) He probably knows calligraphy, too. ;) Those early new Teen Titans comics were great, with Wolfman and George Perez (the crisis and later 80s Wonder Woman artist).
Deathstroke to me was a twisted mix of Captain American and Batman. With proper writing he was a very good character that honestly loved the hell out of his family and that's why he was an assassin.
In most interactions it has remained the same he still has a code it was just misinterpreted not so much a code of honor but a code of ethics generally like to savor his battles but he has been used as a punching bag over the recent years which is sad
Seriously, it's no wonder Tulok thinks the character is boring when he never sees the most interesting version. It would be like thinking deadpool is boring having only seen wolverine origins.
I think you could pull off the Teen Titans TV Show version with a bit more investment in Charisma, a couple of Skill proficiencies in a Charisma skill, and changing the fighter class to Battlemaster and pick up the manuvers that allow you to add the superiority die to your Charisma checks
@@Dragongamz1 hmmm... that wpuld have been.... really accurate. For a bit at the start I thought he was going to have bard levels, until I got into the vid and it turned out tulock was just building super rogue. That works way better than bard levels though and would have been super interesting. It also would have been interesting to give him performance as he often works behind the scenes setting up for something bigger. I really like the charisma side of slade and how manipulative he was in teen titans, like even if you beat him he still marks and changes you. Idk what you could have dumped for charisma though. The build kinda needs a bit of everything.
@@Dragongamz1 probably? Though you are now missing out on capped str to just go even in charisma. If I has to do anything it would probably be to dump str (down to 10). And stick to dex weapons. Like slade is basically super human strong, but something needs to go for that charisma
I think the character is more interesting, or at least can be used more interestingly in stories, then he appears. There’s more to his history and stories than “Anti-hero who good at everything”. Though, to be fair, he’s often best used in stories where he’s explicitly the villain, where being an unstoppable killing machine is more tolerable because he’s supposed to be an obstacle to overcome. All that not to say your taste are invalid for disliking him. I just wanted to provide some defense of a character that I think is more interesting than you imply (IMHO). He’s not *just* a power fantasy.
Yeah, but he also has some of those written by a person who is obviously a big fan of him stories that people hate. My go to one is that time he defeated the entire Justice League alone, without moving, and out willpowered a green lantern.
@@LupineShadowOmega Oh for sure. No character is in only good stories, and Deathstroke certainly has these aspects about his character. I'm just saying he's not usually depicted as so lacking in personality as Tulok implies and is more than just another 90s, Rob Liefeld, anti-hero. The character has a rich history and good stories that involve him.
Honestly the only compelling Deathstroke stories were the original run and his time as a villain for the Teen Titans, and the Christopher Priest run in Rebirth, and beyond. The latter especially really gives him a lot of character and makes him the intelligent badass he’s supposed to be rather than brute strength. And also dives deep into how deeply flawed he and his family is. And him just trying to grapple with all that.
Honestly, Deathstroke has always been a character that's quite interesting to me, moreso than even Deadpool even. Considering the fact that he's actually a family man, (albeit he has one of the most dysfunctional families in comics), who honestly just views Deathstroke as his occupation.
@@catsaremyfavorit6514 Yeah, that's definitely a big negative against him for sure. At least, in regards to that one version of him that did it (The one in Judas Contract was the one that did that, right?)
Why Tulok doesn’t like Deathstroke and dumped Charisma: he never watched Teen Titans. Proof: what clip did he use from Teen Titans? And how many clips from anything and everything else did he recycle instead of using a clip from Teen Titans? That Deathstroke is more of a Mastermind than an Assassin. And is a great Artificer with hundreds of Simulacrum-like robots.
Fun fact: Deadpool was originally a super serious, tryhard never fail, badarse killer. Yeah, Rob Liefield just rips-off ideas... I mean parodies. Well, if the definition of parody was "slightly alters the source material". It wasn't until after the original team that created Deadpool was long gone that he started being a comedy act... but liefield would still take full credit for the character. I know he technically was a creator of white Wade Wilson... but he just saw that his neighbors had a '98 Honda civic and bought one with a different trim package. Once he sold his Honda and a mechanic tuned it up, put a bigger engine in it with NAS, a flame paint job and started winning at the dragstrip, Bobby Liesalot showed up to help accept the trophy.
Honestly, Slade is the kind of character one likes for Heisenberg effect - he has a lot of interesting characters surrounding him and people just cannot help but wonder how this asshole will ruin their lives this time. Like seriously, this guy is the worst father of the universe and one of the worst people on the planet where Joker lives. At least Joker never cuckolded his own son a week before his wedding out of suspicion his finance may be a spy and then kept doing it up until the day before the wedding just to be sure. You know, like how Slade canonically did.
For the algorithm, I'm disappointed there was no footage of classic Teen Titans Deathstroke, or Arrow Deathstroke. The two best Deathstroke's. Joe Manganiello gets bonus points for actually playing D&D though.
Okay but "ultimate edgy badass that's so ultimate and edgy that it becomes a joke" is like one of my favorite character archetypes to play don't knock it XD
Y'know I get that the "I am great at everything I do" is something thats not really fun but when you need a villian to go up to batman and be on par it only makes sense. And its not like he entirely gary stue's his way there. Guys like 90 doing this because its all he knows and when offered something to hold off his natural aging he took it. Who wouldn't want extra years in their prime. Anyway nice video man keep haveing fun with this!
Uh, no, Tulok: the most interesting thing about John Wick is not that he's a wife guy; it's that he's an animal guy, because animals are better than people. It's also the best thing about him.
Honestly, I'm with team Deathstroke because he doesn't have all the things I hate about Deadpool. Plus, he was arguably one of the coolest Teen Titans villains (but maybe that's nostalgia talking)
I do have to say, Slade has manipulated several people through out his existence, his whole schtick is he gets in your head and wears you down (at least that's when his character is at it's best) in which case that reflects high charisma to me. (Being able to convince people who hate you into working for you without even realizing it)that being said... there wasn't really any way to get high charisma in the build so I understand that. Just saying.... deathstroke honestly could have gone high charisma performer.
Personally I'd call that type of manipulation Wisdom-based, or maybe Int-based if you feel like stretching it. He's intimidating to be sure, but that's because of how deadly he is, not how charismatic.
@@caeligocielo5634 That's honestly why battle master (superiority die for charisma checks) would be perfect. He uses his skill, his kniwledge, his strength to manipulate, the fear of him, his superiority. I like tbh.
Blood money is good money, but so is honest money. While Slade has a difficult relationship with his family and has a dead son, so does Iroh, though he's trying to do things to make sure he keeps it cool with Zuko.... so yeah, yet another case an uncle one-ups the father.
You know I emphasise with having to invest so much energy into a character you may not like but it could always be worse you could be building DC's Prometheus.
Episode 324 of the Fire Emblem stats: Slade Wilson. Deathstroke is good at heavy armor and... all the weapons. Not the magic ones, though, and not authority because he's a lone wolf. His greatest stats are in his strength and luck, of course, but he has significant dump stats in magic and charisma since he's a greedy loner who doesn't have silly powers.
It also works just as a reaction. So having sentinel and mobile lets you do it every round while having free disengage. Then use the barbarian reckless attack combo to guarantee that sneak attack and just bounce to not even worry about getting hit with advantage
Any build can be interesting if you make a character that is interesting. Just because Deathstroke is an I'm good at everything and I like killing character, doesn't mean you can't take the build and make an actually interesting character to play with it.
I think we need a cowboy of some sort. In fact, we need an Undead Cowboy. We need - Danny Trejo's Guerrero De La Cruz from Dead in Tombstone, and its sequel Dead Again in Tombstone. Guerrero is the leader of the Blackwater Gang, with a high bounty on their heads. After saving his half brother, Red, from the hangman's rope, he learns of a bank filled with gold - seems there's a mineral dispute going on. His plan - take the gold, walk out, and no one needs to be killed. However, Red murders the sheriff, betrays Guerrero, and convinces the rest to do the same. They then fill Guerrero full of lead, and take over the town. Awaking in Hell, Guerrero encounters the Devil, who states that Guerrero is to be tortured for eternity. Guerrero makes the Devil an offer - the souls of his betrayers for his - to just give him 24 hours to do it. The Devil decides to give this some thought. One year to the day, the Devil's like "Alright, but you only have 24 hours, and all must die at your hands." What happens is quite the revenge story. The sequel's pretty good too, has he's trying to stop a gang of Confederate remnants from getting a sacred object that can raise the dead. Guerrero was a human, but he's now undead-ish. So, Reborn might be a good pick - lots of cool things, like resistance to poison, advantage on several saving throws including death saves, no need to sleep, eat or breathe, being able to add a d6 onto skill checks, and two skills - let's grab Animal Handling and Perception. Oh, and a floating +2, +1, or 3 floating +1s. Personally, +1 to Dexterity, and +2 to Constitution - trust me. Stats - Dexterity (15 (16 with boost) - he uses guns a lot), Wisdom (14 - he's good with horses), Strength (13 - he does get into melee at times and throws stuff), Constitution (12 (14 with boost) - he did come back from the dead after all), Intelligence (10 - not needed for the build) Charisma (8 - he lost the loyalty of his gang, but to be fair, Red had a serious Bonus to his Charisma modifier, and temporary Expertise in Persuasion.) Background - Criminal, but swap Deception for Persuasion - he's not into lying, and prefers to ask. But he's certainly big on Stealth. Start off as a Rogue - Acrobatics, Athletics, Investigation, and Slight of Hand. All help you to get around, find those traitors, and send them to Hell. Add Expertise to Stealth so you can hide really well, and to Animal Handling, so that you never fall off of your horse. Oh, and Sneak Attack is nice. At Level 3, take Assassin, so that you can send your former friends to Hell faster. At Level 4 - Crossbow Expert - now he can be really good with those hand crossbows. Switch to Fighter for a bit. Grab Archery. Al Level 3 Fighter, pick Cavalier - you're never falling off that horse. Grab History here. Also, no one is going to harm your allies without paying for it. At Level 4, grab the Tavern Brawler Feat, to give you a d4+2 punch, and now you can use those improvised weapons really well. Now, switch over to Ranger. Grab Nature here, and let's that Deft Explorer and improve either Investigation for finding those traitors, or Perception to locate hidden danger. Also, make Humans Favored Enemy. For Fighting Style, grab Dueling. At Level 3 Ranger, go Hunter, pick Colossus Slayer. At Level 4, improve Dexterity. From here, it's a question of Fighter or Ranger. Fighter has an extra Ability Score point, and improved Extra Attacks, plus Warding Maneuver and Hold the Line. Ranger grants Roving, Tireless, and a few other things. Stats to boost - Dexterity, of course, and then either Strength or Constitution... possibly Constitution. By the end, Guerrero shoots really good, hides really well, and never falls off his horse.
Fun fact, action surge actually can be used to pop 2 SA off if you opt to hold that action. Obviously this will mean you're using your reaction, but I've found it usually equals out in the end
Deathstroke falls squarely in that one villain archetype where he's the biggest, most badass, most effective fighter/killer alive but typically if set to kill a hero inevitably gets outplayed thus making him not that thing anymore
I’d switch Strength for Intelligence, invest in Armourer Artificer lvl 6 for the Ikon suit, Repeating Shot, Enhanced Weapon and the Guardian model to punch real good without Unarmed Fighting and get 11 Rogue lvls for more Sneak Attack and evasive options.
Slade does wear armour though, so I’d go to Artificer lvl 3, grab the Guardian model from Armourer to punch without grabbing Unarmed Fighting or investing in Monk. Then continue on to Rogue lvl 11, Scout archetype for more skills and better mobility options, and take a detour to the end to Fighter lvl 6, Champion of course.
I feel like Slade on Teen Titans was cool, he was always taunting them, setting up traps, and then leaving at the last minute in a "I'll get you next time" kind of way. But I didn't see the Teen Titans Slade in the background videos. Maybe you'd like him better if you rewatched that show. (And I know you watched it for the characters). But you also didn't included the Wade Wilson from Titans, and he's as boring as you say.
Thanks for the build Tulok! Although if you read his comics,Slade is a much more complex character than the titans or media portray him as. Christopher Priests run is the one that explores his character most recently.
"I don't really like this character" Hm. I guess someone never watched teen titans... Whatever though. I do think you sapped a bit of the fun out of this, (since I actually DO like Deathstroke, it kinda bummed me out a bit) but it didn't kill the vibe to an extent that I'd actually complain. You do you, man.
i dont think its that he didnt watch teen titans, he just gets exceedingly petulant whenever a traditionally 'macho/masculine' character or story comes up. probably some childhood insecurity thing?

Love the builds❤️ Just recently used some of your tips from the eraser head video to build a new character. Also, I know that not everyone cares about deathstroke all that much, but he’s still one of my favorite comic characters, so thanks for this video!
As always, hella enjoyable vid! Slade is kinda one note, I agree, but I am one of those basic babies who loves combat enough to build a character pretty much exclusively for it!
I was excited to see Slade today!!! hes not my favorite but it made a pretty solid villain for a bunch of teens. I'd love to see him go up against Xena and Gabrielle from your Xena builds... Lets see those Xena Builds!!! so many great options, Xena, Joxer, a king of thieves, and a couple of gods to mix it up with!
I mean, Deathstroke struggling with interdimensional threats makes sense given how he's human still. Sure, he has a healing factor, but he's still human. Deathstroke typically had to rely on outsmarting and finding alternative ways around foes who were alien or god-like.
Constructive criticism: Your whole deal is making characters people love, maybe invest more effort into jokes and such that aren't about how you find the character edgy and boring? This is one of my favorite characters and I literally only watch your videos for the humor (because I don't play 5e) and you kinda ruined the humor of the video for me.
I agree, and I don't even know much about Deathstroke. It got distracting and it gave me the feeling he didn't want to make this video. A little teasing is fine, such as what he did for Kylo Ren's video.
"Pair [Superior Criticals] with 3 to 7 attacks per round, and there's a pretty dang good chance you'll crit every single fight." By my math, 3 attacks with a 3/20 chance of crit is 38.5875% of getting a crit with one of them, and 7 attacks brings that up to 67.942291171875% in that turn alone.
I had shared this with a buddy that is a huge Deathstroke fan as well as a D&D player. Went back and deleted my share because you spent literally the entire time shitting on him. Just dont make the video if you dont like the character next time.
My primary exposure to Slade is from the Teen Titans cartoon, but it seems like that version of him is the most un-Sladelike of him judging by his other incarnations.
He was a pretty great villain in Teen Titans at least, though that version of Deathstroke is *definitely* not dumping Charisma. Not with that voice. Daddy.
Sneak attack doesn't go off if it's your ally necessarily, it goes off if the person within 5 ft of them is an enemy Yes, most of the time your ally would be an enemy of the person you're attacking, but if you get into a situation where you have no allies but the person attacking your target is the target's enemy, you even if there are against you, they still qualify for your sneak attack to go off
I won't lie, I'd really love seeing how you'd handle doing Rumpelstiltskin in dnd from once upon a time. I think it'd be an interesting rp opportunity but I don't know, how that would play out.
I mean some people like to roleplay hardasses/badasses He’s just the type of guy who needs the right kind of writer behind him. The old Teen Titans show did well at giving him a fair degree of menace. And he is fun in some Arkham incarnations. I mean at the end of the day his whole archetype is Marluxia but not Pink. Right down to manipulating blonde gals! Ew…
I'd swap to Battle Master! He's a brilliant tactician afterall, and things like Riposte give some good extra Sneak Attack opportunities, and give some more fun options
Still pulling for Eglantine Price (Bednobs and Broomsticks), Winifred Sanderson (Hocus Pocus), Prince Voltran (Flash Gordon), Captain Kirk, Commander Spock, Councilor Troi, Mary Poppins, and the Reverend Doctor Syn (The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh).
Wow, I get to feel you really didn't want to do this video. I was kind of hoping you'd lean into the fact that Slade super smart. Take us an opportunity to make a smart fighter. Oh well.
Could you do a Grombrindal d&d build? He is the white dwarf from warhammer, a mythical figure appearing to aid dwarves in times of needs and vanishing just as fast.
How to Build Knuckles the Echidna from the Sonic Franchise in D&D. The original rival turned iconic ally of the blueberry cyclops hedgehog and sacred guardian of the master emerald. Bare in mind this is pre colors knuckles to keep things simple. Intro: Unknown from M.E. Knuckles uppercuts his way into the campaign with these goals in mind 1. Rougher than the Rest of them: Your called knuckles for your rock hard knuckle spikes. Like a Z warrior smash your way through stones, steel and generally anything that stands in your way. 2. Chaos Energy: As a keeper of a giant mystic rock you have access to magic. Spells that make you glide, enhance senses and even go hyper can cover up your lack of street-smart. 3. Lil'Indiana Jones: Did SEGA forget Knuckles is a bit of an archeologist? Your skills in deciphering ancient languages and hieroglyphs will complement your treasure hunter skills. Stats: Dex: Your tougher than leather, able to force Shadow to remove his inhibitor rings just to knock you out. Strength: Canonically Knuckles was strong enough to knock the Super out of Sonic in his debut game. Intel: Your a mobile rosetta stone or a little furry Benjamin Franklin Gates. Const: Your a knuckle head with a burning temper, it's easy to get under your skin and chances of changing you mind once it's made is near impossible. Wis: To be fair you grew up alone on a floating island, who can really blame you when a egg shaped genius is able to trick you to fight the blue blurr.
Dex entry should be constitution. Constitution should be charisma. Proper dex analysis is utterly lacking. For build I see tank mage with brawler fighter. No idea on level ratios.
I like Deathstroke, but I did get into him when I was a younger teenager, where his primary traits are "he's a badass" and I was the correct age for that sort of thing. I do still think he makes a good villain, however, being fairly intelligent and tactically brilliant, when he's written well, he makes for a great "henchmen" or "hired gun" type bad guy, and almost always guarantees a good fight sequence Beyond that, yeah, not much, but I suppose if you want to be the world's deadliest assassin, you have to be not much of anything else, I don't think I would ever want to RP this type of character outside of a one-shot, but I would definitely run Deathstroke as a recurring villain in a campaign
This is really confusing to me, I'm used to Teen Titans Slade and his role as a League guy. I only got into his stories when I was in my early 20's and I still don't hate him as much as some people seem to (stupidly because I read comic books).
@@lordderppington4694 Hmmmmm, I'd probably drop the Strength and Con down to 12 to shore up the Charisma to 10.....does that work out?
He's a great character when he's not just a villain.
Eh, I can see why one would think Slade's kinda boring, but I heavily disagree. Great build, regardless.
I like him. He is kind of just the kind of edgy murder man archetype but he's one of the best at it so he's definitely still cool
@@catsaremyfavorit6514 Yeah, that's definitely a big negative against him for sure. At least, in regards to that one version of him that did it (The one in Judas Contract was the one that did that, right?)
@@donniejefferson9554 True. There is that. He's definitely more of an anti-villain than anti-hero.
I am not above pointing out the irony of giving the one-eyed mercenary expertise in perception.
Eye see what you did there.
....
I'll see myself out.
Yay he finally makes my favorite comic book character and shit talks him the entire time..
All five show Teen Titans have builds on their channel that pretty much exclusively use TT clips though
@@roiporat8833 That’s even worse. Because that means that he did what he didn’t want to do with Bane, but with a different character.
Asami's video was really cool because it was the first time you explained both guardian and infiltrator armors
No footage from Arrow season 2. Slade was the highlight of that season.
I was expecting some Arrow footage the whole way through... But none ever appeared. I am left a little disappointed.
Considering he didn't use even a single frame from Arrow when making freaking Green Arrow, I wasn't really expecting any for Deathstroke.
He didn't even use frames from Teen Titans, arguably one of Slade's best portrayals. This video just sapped my enthusiasm in general.
Best thing about John Wick is that he's a Dog Guy.
And he's Keanu Reeves so there's that too
For the algorithm, I'm disappointed there was no footage of classic Teen Titans Deathstroke, or Arrow Deathstroke. The two best Deathstroke's. Joe Manganiello gets bonus points for actually playing D&D though.
Last time I was this early, Slade had better peripheral vision.
That joke out of the way, I am curious how you will pull off his regenerating armor.
I don't know what Slade did to piss Tulok off, but imma need him to chill.
Seeing as this build will be played I'd rather see deathstroke as a foe. With legendary actions. Worth spending the time to make.
"You only like fighting? Sigh..."
"Might wanna skip the sighs and go straight to the crying, here ill help." *draws all the weapons*
Honestly, I'm with team Deathstroke because he doesn't have all the things I hate about Deadpool. Plus, he was arguably one of the coolest Teen Titans villains (but maybe that's nostalgia talking)
I prefer the Teen Titans version of Death Stroke
“Who is Slade?”
- Robin
Frankly, Slade was at his most interesting when he was grooming Robin in Teen Titans
Deathstroke was at his best in the 2003 Teen Titans show, where he was more of a cunning tactician who could still hold his own in a fight.
Well said. Look at how he plays Ollie like a fiddle in season 2 of Arrow
I like tbh.
My man tulok should have ate a snickers before making this video.
Blood money is good money, but so is honest money. While Slade has a difficult relationship with his family and has a dead son, so does Iroh, though he's trying to do things to make sure he keeps it cool with Zuko.... so yeah, yet another case an uncle one-ups the father.
There is a fine line between baiting internet trolls and becoming one.
Yup
You get two sneak attacks in a round by using action surge to Ready an action to attack when someone else's turn starts.
That’s disgusting. I love it.
It also works just as a reaction. So having sentinel and mobile lets you do it every round while having free disengage. Then use the barbarian reckless attack combo to guarantee that sneak attack and just bounce to not even worry about getting hit with advantage
Man, I don't even really want to play this build anymore after the video.
Stats - Dexterity (15 (16 with boost) - he uses guns a lot), Wisdom (14 - he's good with horses), Strength (13 - he does get into melee at times and throws stuff), Constitution (12 (14 with boost) - he did come back from the dead after all), Intelligence (10 - not needed for the build) Charisma (8 - he lost the loyalty of his gang, but to be fair, Red had a serious Bonus to his Charisma modifier, and temporary Expertise in Persuasion.)
Background - Criminal, but swap Deception for Persuasion - he's not into lying, and prefers to ask.
It gonna lie, was really hoping he was gonna be a bard, but I totally get why he wasn’t. Loved the vid though.
My prediction: champion fighter/assassin rogue, or kensei monk
Oh yeah, can't wait to crack out this super-assassin against my unsuspecting PCs. >:D
I'm getting the felling Tulok prefers Deadpool to Deathstroke can't quite put my finger on why though.
My prediction? "Minimal effort!"
Teen Titans was my introduction to Slade/Deathstroke. He was badass and the scariest villain in my opinion so I’m excited by this build
This also works as a Sportsmaster build. Just reflavor all your weapons as sporting equipment.
"I don't really like this character"
Hm.
@@seanread5556 or maybe the character is just a bland beatstick edgelord that guys like you are way too fucking attached to out of a mistaken belief that you could one day be like?

@@winterfire567 well, off the top of my head he's made massive reaches in at least a few videos absolutely tearing into 300....in builds that had nothing to do with 300. he also projected quite a bit during his carole danvers video, on top of a few awkwardly placed shoehornings of politics into the script on a semi-regular basis. if he wanted to turn every video political, he should probably post on twitter instead of youtube lol
Love the builds❤️ Just recently used some of your tips from the eraser head video to build a new character.
Also, I know that not everyone cares about deathstroke all that much, but he’s still one of my favorite comic characters, so thanks for this video!
Deathstroke is one serious fighter against his own fellow dark of the night types.
I wish I could like this more than once, the snark all the way through was great. If there is another doco about me I would want Tulok to narrate it
Deadshot never misses. Deathstroke literally challenges himself as a marksman because he's got one eye. It's not good for depth perception.
Deadshot doesnt miss.....unless its batman
As always, hella enjoyable vid! Slade is kinda one note, I agree, but I am one of those basic babies who loves combat enough to build a character pretty much exclusively for it!
I was excited to see Slade today!!! hes not my favorite but it made a pretty solid villain for a bunch of teens. I'd love to see him go up against Xena and Gabrielle from your Xena builds... Lets see those Xena Builds!!! so many great options, Xena, Joxer, a king of thieves, and a couple of gods to mix it up with!
Thanks for the perfect Bounty Hunter statblock, my players won't get away this time!!
Finally i can play My favourite guest from critical role!
@@jcdenton2187 Oh yeah, a bit of teasing is great, I'm pretty sure he teases most of them bit and I can totally appreciate that.
He clearly missed the original teen titans as he generally does not like animated stuff in general.

I just saw this and I've been waiting for this for sooooooooo long
"Pair [Superior Criticals] with 3 to 7 attacks per round, and there's a pretty dang good chance you'll crit every single fight."
By my math, 3 attacks with a 3/20 chance of crit is 38.5875% of getting a crit with one of them, and 7 attacks brings that up to 67.942291171875% in that turn alone.
"I don't like this character" *does minimum amount of research for vid*
Look, we agree, we both dislike dudes whose only motivation to do an undesirable job is money.

PLEEEEASE
Woah, I *just* watched Deathstroke: Knights & Dragons last night!
Daddy.
Can we get Jareth the goblin king from 1986s Labyrinth?
I figured there would be a little artificer in there for Deathstroke
Sneak attack doesn't go off if it's your ally necessarily, it goes off if the person within 5 ft of them is an enemy
Yes, most of the time your ally would be an enemy of the person you're attacking, but if you get into a situation where you have no allies but the person attacking your target is the target's enemy, you even if there are against you, they still qualify for your sneak attack to go off
One of my favourite villians of the Titans just in my bithday, jeje
Honestly I was expecting a bloodsport video before deathstoke haha
Prettymuch the same build, really. Shoot things good
I won't lie, I'd really love seeing how you'd handle doing Rumpelstiltskin in dnd from once upon a time. I think it'd be an interesting rp opportunity but I don't know, how that would play out.
I mean some people like to roleplay hardasses/badasses
He’s just the type of guy who needs the right kind of writer behind him. The old Teen Titans show did well at giving him a fair degree of menace. And he is fun in some Arkham incarnations.
I mean at the end of the day his whole archetype is Marluxia but not Pink. Right down to manipulating blonde gals! Ew…
What would Kai from Kung Fu Panda 3 be?
He seems to be a Monk, but he also needs a way to steal people’s Chi and turn them into his zombies.
Deathstroke uses gun pit prefers hand to hand usually using swords and a staff
I'd swap to Battle Master! He's a brilliant tactician afterall, and things like Riposte give some good extra Sneak Attack opportunities, and give some more fun options
You should do kurai from aragami 1 and 2 (shadow assassin)
Am I wrong or is this the first inclusion of actually using the gunner feat? I’m a fan of it.
He did mention it in the Five (Umbrella Academy) video before.
He's mentioned it in his previous videos, like The Heavy.
Ooooh boy its about to go down
How to Build Knuckles the Echidna from the Sonic Franchise in D&D. The original rival turned iconic ally of the blueberry cyclops hedgehog and sacred guardian of the master emerald. Bare in mind this is pre colors knuckles to keep things simple.
Intro: Unknown from M.E.
Knuckles uppercuts his way into the campaign with these goals in mind
Stats:
Dex: Your tougher than leather, able to force Shadow to remove his inhibitor rings just to knock you out.
I do still think he makes a good villain, however, being fairly intelligent and tactically brilliant, when he's written well, he makes for a great "henchmen" or "hired gun" type bad guy, and almost always guarantees a good fight sequence
Beyond that, yeah, not much, but I suppose if you want to be the world's deadliest assassin, you have to be not much of anything else, I don't think I would ever want to RP this type of character outside of a one-shot, but I would definitely run Deathstroke as a recurring villain in a campaign
This is really confusing to me, I'm used to Teen Titans Slade and his role as a League guy. I only got into his stories when I was in my early 20's and I still don't hate him as much as some people seem to (stupidly because I read comic books). Slade's hasn't been a "basic soldier man" for a good while, I'm tired of the meme.
@@MrBromansa i haven't seen any memes about it, but I mean, if he's not a focus character, I can see how he comes across as kinda boring, If you're not into all the violence
@@NumbSkull2602 When I say meme, I'm referring to the distaste some casual comic people have about Slade. I'm not saying he's a super complex character - I'm just tired of hearing "grrr, violence man bad."
Slade was cool on teen titans, he makes a good mastermind that can fight. Other places he is just a merc.
How abou a Ripley video, she is way cooler!
So how about a Jaden yuki build?
I know i know he already did yugi muto.
Bat ask your self this what does Jaden summon answer HERO/your party yes i propose any ultimate buff/support/utility build also keep up the great work
Well, plus Jaden would most likely be quite different as a build, since he doesn't have a millennium item, meaning it's not just gonna be 20 levels in genielock. If he DOES take any warlock levels it'd probably be fiend levels cuz of Yubel and the Supreme King.
@@ssjbread2803 i would think more undead for the form of dread or something get some supreme king action going? Maybe bard and sorcerer of some sort
Bro do Dallas from payday 2
Goals can be
Literally become a medic
Also become a controller (hostage taker or some shit)
Then become a sharpshooter (hoxton replaced woah)
Then you should probably have a shit ton of charisma Dallas is a good man
Also as far as how interesting death stroke or any other non powered character who uses martial prowess (fighter barb rogue) that's entirely up to you.
As a role playing exercise make a sword and board champion fighter who is a human. Ok now make them interesting
As a soldier can confirm: strong, mean, and basic.
"You might have trouble taking down titans" LOL. I see what you did there.
