RTX 2014: RWBY Panel - Introduction of Voice Actresses and Sneak Peak of RWBY Game

- RTX 2014: RWBY Panel dropped a lot of bombs today on July 4th. One of these bombs was the fanmade RWBY game we saw early April this year! Rooster Teeth hired the fan and have begun development into game creation! A first for the company and definitely a big step for RWBY!
Not only is there a teaser for it, it introduces another playable character, Yang Xiao Long! The game demo can be played in the Exhibit Hall at RTX 2014, so stop by if you have the chance!
We also get to see the introduction of the RWBY voice actresses dressed in the cosplay of their respective characters!

I had no idea about Monty since I just got into this show a week ago and finished it in two days... I was devastated from the ending of Vol. 3, but when I saw the "in memorium" for Monty in the credits, I was sooooo depressed.
Actually, Monty had the story planned through season 5.

Is it me, or does Barb look a lot like Yang? I mean I know it's a good costume and she voices Yang, but the resemblance is uncanny.
Monty actually based Yang heavily off Barb ^.^ from personality and puns to yellow hair and looks!

I am not sure how far back the history on monty's facebook goes but you can check there. I was the 3rd view on the grim eclipse video and no one else said anything at the time

I am aggravated by the fact that whomever is filming this cannot hold the camera still, even for like 2 seconds! I get that this is a hand camcorder, and it's amateur, but the constant shakiness makes this difficult to watch.

I remember reading the description of the game's trailer and how it was his last game and how his other works have failed and stuff like that. Hard to believe that this guy's supposedly last game has caused him to be hired at Rooster Teeth and work alongside Monty.
Yeah, well I failed many times on making my own short web series project that it always involved family matters or them getting in the way. Believe it or not that is the reason I won't date or have a family on my own, I'll be too busy working on what I aim for. Not what many people can do nowadays. Its easy to make a family, lets see how it is to have none and hardly any friends. Work work work. As long its my dream work.
Well guess what, you know the Final Fantasy series? The first Final Fantasy game was also suppose to be the studio's last game as well as well as a last chance to gain production and all. Well look at where the Final Fantasy series is right now. 15+ large franchises and multiple spin-offs.
Sometimes, placing everything onto one table has it merits.

I'm really depressed that I was unable to get into this panel. It was overcrowded, and I ended up not getting in.
Brandon Farmahini, an employee at Rooster Teeth and my friends cousin, got us passes for RTX, and I actually could have walked up to Monty at a party that was going on in our hotel, the Raddison, but I didn't. I'm all really sad that I never said hello to him when he was standing ferry away from me. I really regret that.

Haha nah. In the panel they said they had a lot of bombs to drop, so I just used their words. While I heard nothing about a bomb threat at RTX, someone pulled the fire alarm the first night so many of the events were cancelled.
I'm kinda hoping there'll be a Tales of RWBY easter egg or two.

Y'know, with Lazer Team's fundraising success, I really hope they don't just make it a half-assed game. The demo's nice, but I hope it becomes more.
Since game designing and stuff's kinda new for RT, they could always make a new fundraise to kickstart the gaming branch of RT. I know I would pay for that.

He was the guy that brought Red vs Blue into new level of animation and choreography in season 8, than he tried (succesfully) to push his own original idea- RWBY.

I wonder how cool something along the lines of a RWBY rpg would be, something like along with making your own character you pick some different preset ability/weapon types to combine and then make a color scheme for your own weapon and pick a semblance that you can evolve/level in different directions as the game progresses........... Hmmmm I wonder if can this idea to Rooster Teeth for 5 bucks.
