You really have performed as though it is the time of the Spaniards where the Filipino culture is only grasped softly, any moment then it will be taken away. This dance reflects a filipino desperate to take anything that they could in order to beat the Spanish Colonizers. The subtle 3/4 steps delicately count the beats of my heart, as I stared at my partner. I could barely follow through, but the sudden look in his eyes I was able to.
