The economy moving in the right direction but the people on the street disagree. Every day prices of commodities go up. Everything from pure water to bread and tomatoes and pepper are moving in the wrong direction.

Bros, too early to rejoice na. Let's just relax and work smarter to get our economy up. All we want is the right indices. More FDI and more exports. Hopefully the Naira appreciation affects prices of goods too. Otherwise, it's all shenanigans.

    Brilliant economist Mr Rawane!
You need to highlight the fx supply shortage ,caused by remitances dwindle from 25$usd B to $500m cos diaspora remits via crypto and no longer via banks.

Where do they get the prices of eggs and yam? They are pretty lower than what is shown here. The egg is around N3,500, while the yam tuber is between N2,500 and N3,000.

The most delicate understanding of economics is that these piecemeal “corner solutions” are rarely optimal please. If economics is to be a tool for moving Nigeria society from crisis toward a resilient and thriving future, then its renewal starts with a new compass and map that are fit for our emerging metamodern times

We need more whistle blowers in the mould of Senator Abdul Ningi in the congress. Imagine what Senator Micheal Opeyemi Bamidele from Ekiti Central stood up to say in the floor of the Senate. Does he know where political authority resides in a presidential system of government?

Senator Ninji never blows up any whistle. He was only fighting NORTHERNERS AGENDA because there were never anywhere that Senate approved 2.3 trillion. The only BUDGET that was approved was 2.8 trillion, and all the alleged or non details were constitutionally approved. The crime was that they were not explained in detail to the public or Nigerians may be they may ask questions. But the figure was constitutionally approved. That is never a crime. Senator Ninji has also failed to prove himself right on his step. I believed he was just after Northerners' agenda to present SENATE PRESIDENT.
