FlyQuest is probably going to win SFL US. They have four solid players and one elite player. All of their players play, and so there is a team unity there. I would've went with Shopify Rebellion but they have uncharacteristically struggled considering the talent on their team. Cloud 9 will fail because they play with 3 top-tiers that everyone knows how to deal with and they won't throw a wrench in the proceedings with playing Noah. If they actually played Noah the Prodigy, there would be some intrigue into matchups and decisions you have to make, but when you play Cloud 9, you know what you are going to get and the characters they will pick and that predictability will cost them in the end. Bandits will fail because of the characters that Mena plays with, particularly Zangief, and that he has no mental hold over Punk anymore. And the fact that Caba is the 3rd best Guile in SFL US. Lui-Man adds some intrigue with his Dhalsim, but it's not enough. Zhen is underperforming. Fighting Spirit don't have enough talent to get it done.
Zhen have done NOTHING in Team Bandits, damn, how this dude who was cooking everyone is so wash this team battle......I assume Zhen was gonna do so much more, welp at least he have done more than NOAH the FRAUD, winning zero games........Mena keep having a character crisis, Punk destroyed him here after the last time we saw this match, he came ready, despite Cammy nerfs been a thing, Luiman is the best right now in team Bandits, his Dhalsim is just so damn sick. And Ajax Fidelity getting the first W for team Rooster is the reason we love to see this, even when they have nothing to earn, they do damage to the upper teams.
Yeah, Zhen has been a huge disappointment so far. Too bad Xiaohai decided not to join Team Bandits this year, but I understand Xiaohai's decision. He wanted to focus on singles instead of team tournaments. Xiaohai has been labbing with Vxbao, and both have qualified for Capcom Cup, while the Chinese players that participated in SFL US (Zhen & DCQ) have not. Even though I am rooting for Team Bandits, there is no question that Mena is in trouble, and they are not going to make it to Grand Finals. Previously, Punk had a chip on his shoulder, but now that he has nothing to prove after winning EVO, this is the most dangerous Punk we have ever seen.
To be fair to Noah The Prodigy, him and Lexx are going to Capcom Cup while Booce and JB are staying home. Lexx through World Warrior and Noah through Blink Respawn in the Dominican Republic.
