4:30 For years I thought I didn't like dates but I was definitely wrong and I discovered it when I tried stuffed dates too :D I love making them with cashew butter granola *.* My absolute fave combo :D
your video came right on time for me haha i'm also taking a ton of supplements to get my health (and severe period pain) back on track, so I can totally relate to the amount you take!! loved seeing what you eat, especially the dates look yummy!
I actually lose my appetite when I’m on my period and end up eating a lot of junk because I’m too tired to cook and I get brain fog that really prevents me being creative in the kitchen.
hi remy! i find that consuming papaya has been really helpful to regulate my period and heat packs are my absolute best friend during that time of the month (✿◠‿◠)
This was my first Moon taking Semaine. I think it help a little but bc I have the worst symptoms on Day 1 I’m going to try taking it 2 days leading up to the moon
Hello Remy... new sub here. Love your content. Please may I ask why you try to limit cold drinks? Does that include juices/smoothies aswell? Just curious maybe I can learn something new
In TCM you have the two opposite energies, yin(cold)and yang(warm). On your period you should avoid too much yin- cold drinks, dairy, green tea, raw foods..as actually in general bc they slow down digestion and bring less energy to your digestive system
@@jasmineschmit587 hello Jasmine. Hope you're well. I had no idea and thank you for enlightening me. I will definitely look Into incorporating this new information and see how it works out. Thanks for a thorough explanation.
i have no clue, but i don't think so since it's made from green tea leaves, BUT maybe hojicha is for you as it contains less caffeine :) i think Remy also shared some Hojicha recipes! 💮
I also lost my period when I was vegan. I spent so much money on supplements and only got it back when I started eating animal protein again, stopped under-eating/over-exercising and gained much needed weight :)
The most common reasons for period loss on a plant based diet are temporary period loss due to not eating animal products (body readjusting), not enough calories, not enough fat (which are simple fixes)
My losing my period has nothing to do with a plant based diet, I had anorexia for years (and at the time I wasn't even vegan). In theory it may sound like a "simple fix" but speaking from experience, bodies take time to adjust back, so even if you restore weight and eat more fat it's not an instant fix. It's one of the incredible (and sometimes frustrating) things about the female reproductive system :)
@@Veggiekins I also have had am eating disorder (anorexia) for a few years. I did not know that that was what you were talking about. For the first few months it was the most rapid. When I turned I couldn't walk much because I constantly felt faint, I lost my memory and some hair. On the week I had to stay at home from school(doctors orders) I recall hearing the words "movie" and "school" and trying to figure out what those ment. 3 years later I don't have any plans on ever "fully" recovering. I'm functional, and I can eat in unpleasant situations if it truly comes down to it, I don't plan on having/adopting kids (eating disorders are contagious). But it's certainly not something that I would ever wish upon an other person.
I finally got my period back after losing it for a year and going through an irregular cycle! Thank you for this!
PROUD OF U!

@@vanamarkarian Not sure what exactly did it but I lessened the amount of exercise I did since I used to overwork it!! Hope this helps!

What brand is the toast from🥑🍞😍
Raspberry tea in the days leading up to my period!
Which tea did you use to try and help with hormonal changes? My period has been irregular recently and I’m looking for some helpful tips 🙏
Matcha and spearmint tea has helped me hun xx
It's in my older period video, it has raspberry leaf, hibiscus, nettle etc. :)
Do you mind if I ask why you lost it in the first place? Or was it something random
I thought I mentioned eating disorder, sorry! I have a lot of older videos on it so maybe I forgot to mention i
Dumb question, is there decaf matcha? If so, can anyone recommend one they like?

Hi Remy! Just curious. That was chicken? I thought you do vegan recipes.
I am vegan, so anything I am eating or wearing is always vegan 🙂

Can we drink coffee in our period?
You can do whatever suits you best, everyone's body is different but I personally try to limit caffeine intake
