I've heard Volbeat described as what would happen if Metallica and Elvis had a baby, so your reaction was spot on. They're a really solid band with a fairly unique sound, and a great lead singer. Describing his voice as powerful is often selling him short. If you check out more of their stuff, I'd suggest "Seal the Deal" and "The Devil's Bleeding Crown" as those are two of my favorite songs of theirs.
keep up the amazing work, they are from Denmark. so many great songs - still counting, heaven nor hell, a warrior's call, dead but rising, the hangman's body count, Lola montez, doc holliday, the devil's bleeding crown, temple of ekur, wait a minute my girl, shotgun blues
I've heard some of Volbeat's songs described as metal rockabilly. I think that is a good description love almost every song I've heard of theirs. My favorite tune by them is "The Loa's Crossroad" love the bagpipes lol. You are the first reaction I've seen to these guys thank you!
Saw these guys back 2017 with Avenged Sevenfold and Metallica. They rocked it of course. I think my favorite album of theirs in "Outlaw Gentlemen and Shady Ladies" - every song on that album is great!
to get more variation in his vocals, try "Heaven nor Hell" or "the Garden's Tale" by Volbeat. "Sad Man's Tongue" and "I only Wanna Be with You" are more of their rockabilly style. Almost forgot about "Fallen" and "Lola Montez" good stuff
Some of my favourites, their cover of I only wanna be with you is a masterpiece and was my wife and I walk out music to introduce us as a married couple at our wedding
Another great Rayaction! One of my favourite guitar solos of all time, too. Not overly technical, but so well-produced, and it serves the song perfectly.
I love Volbeat's vibe! Check out Still Counting or Lola Montez. It might get you started with Rockabilly or Psychobilly. Awesome job and keep up the great work.
Volbeat is amazing, and my favorite band. Listen th Shotgun Blues, Becoming, Sorry Sack of Bones, A Moment Forever, Heaven's Descent, The Devil Rages On. They have so many fantastic songs.
This is one of my favorite bands and so many reactors sleep on them. These guys were awesome live and super cool when i met them backstage!!! The singer Michael Paulson was heavily influenced by Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley
Absolutely love Volbeat and would love to hear more Rayactions! Fallen, Still Counting, Shotgun Blues, I Only Want to be with you, Doc Holiday, Lola Montez, Sad Man's Tongue, Die to Live, Heaven Nor Hell, For Evigt, and Lonesome Rider (Featured Singer Sarah Blackwood is Canadian) are my suggestions. They have a LOT of good songs.
interesting song choice to start with them...a lot of people do Lola Montez or Still Counting. this is a nice change. really hope you do more Volbeat, in particular Soulweeper and Soulweeper #2
Like a lot of folk, I reckon, my introduction to these guys was the AWEOME Lola Montez, that's just a bloody hard rock MASTERPIECE. My fave of theirs, though, HAS TO BE Maybe I Believe.
Michael Poulsen loves Elvis and Metallica and it shines through at different times. That’s why he sounds like Elvis sometimes and James Hetfield other times.
This band is awesome their song leviathan has been my ringtone for years and still is 🔥 you definitely need to check out the live performance of for evigt from telia parken 2017 it will blow you away
Hello! I recommend reacting to yet another Metallica song, off the Master of Puppets album. Namely "Disposable Heroes". I wont spoiler too much but its in a similar subject matter too "One".
He says counting days till it's over that thing called love - but at that point u didnt listen ;) Or at least it didnt look so and the song is about love obviously.. a relationship full of potential that was dropped on the floor.. :)
I think you're trying to say, that the vocal style is very impactful. The instrumentation is very well done, but vocals are unique; not loud, but booming.
Hello ,you will find the Michael's rockabilly influences in the clip for the song "Die to live" featuring Clutch 's singer Neil Fallon... It's such a great song full of energy with saxophone and piano.
Any group that starts with Metallica and Elvis as main influences has to at least make one curious. 🤷🏻♂️ They’re just a really good, fun sounding band!
Also I listened to this song a *lot* after I put in my two weeks notice that I was leaving my job to go to a new one. I had good memories from the job I had, but it was kind of a vibe that it was time for a change.
As a Dane, I have a weird relationship with them. For some reason, they are one of our bands who made it outside of Denmark ( With this kind of music ) And that is cool. And they are not bad in anyway. But I really feel like there are many other Danish bands that makes better music. And they are not making it outside Denmark. So, its not that I dislike them, or their music. Some of their songs are even really catchy. I just have this feeling, others are better, and deserve the spotlight.
Do you know any of the best? Because from the ones I heard my favorite go 1.) Black Rose 2.) Evelyn 3.) Being 1 I’m always looking for more Volbeat haha
Perhaps pause when you have something to say, speaking all over the song would make it hard to actually listen to it at the same time, right? Pausing in a reaction perfectly fine, speaking over half the song, not so much.
He grew up listening to Elvis. That was his father’s favorite artist. If you listen to more Volbeat, you’ll hear the Elvis influence in his voice
If you haven't heard it yet, Pelvis on Fire is the song for you
Volbeat is my absolute favorite band. I know nearly all of their songs on guitar and drums. They are simply amazing.
It's more of Johnny Cash and Elvis with a Metal twist
Volbeat is a treasure trove. They are way too underrated. You have to check out more for sure.
Love Volbeat! Still counting,Fallen, Lola Montez are some of my favorites from them

You should react to their song The Lonesome Rider

This bad is awesome especially the live version of their songs, their most popular song The Devil's bleeding crown
This is one of my favorite bands and so many reactors sleep on them. These guys were awesome live and super cool when i met them backstage!!! The singer Michael Paulson was heavily influenced by Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley

You need to check out Danko Jones. He is the one who does the vocals in the verses.
My favorite band. Plz do more, you'll love it I promise 😊
Banger!
A Warrior's Call will always be my favorite Volbeat song.
I saw Volbeat in concert with Black Stone Cherry and Monstertruck a few years back. Volbeats cover of Ring of Fire is great. 😊
Volbeat is fantastic! Please react to "Becoming" , "Still Counting" , or "Temple Of Ukur"
interesting song choice to start with them...a lot of people do Lola Montez or Still Counting. this is a nice change. really hope you do more Volbeat, in particular Soulweeper and Soulweeper #2
Yesssss! There's another version with Danko Jones singing the verse and it's amazing, too!
This IS that version.
🤣🤣🤣
The animation has a "Phineas & Ferb" vibe.
The music is good, and the vocals are excellent. Kind of an anthem rockabilly punk plus mix.
The last verse says "countin' days till I'm over this thing called love"
Will support listening to their song Lola Montez, but also listen to Radio Girl. It's so very rockabilly
Like a lot of folk, I reckon, my introduction to these guys was the AWEOME Lola Montez, that's just a bloody hard rock MASTERPIECE. My fave of theirs, though, HAS TO BE Maybe I Believe.
He was counting down the days to divorce, Thai song was about Michael’s ex wife
reina te ame cuando te vi.....mil.. hoy siempre te amare es una cancion. reina..
I like your react Ray
Michael Poulsen loves Elvis and Metallica and it shines through at different times. That’s why he sounds like Elvis sometimes and James Hetfield other times.
A really good live performance is "Still Counting" from Wacken. If you enjoyed this one, you will love them live
This band is awesome their song leviathan has been my ringtone for years and still is 🔥 you definitely need to check out the live performance of for evigt from telia parken

welcome to volbeat cheers from denmark check out ring of fire 2013 live Wacken
React to “Sad Man’s Tongue”! It is interesting combination of Johnny Cash, Elvis and rock. Singers tribute to Johnny Cash.
I like to think Volbeat is what you get if Elvis was born in this generation and gravitated to metal music
He says counting days till it's over that thing called love - but at that point u didnt listen ;) Or at least it didnt look so and the song is about love obviously.. a relationship full of potential that was dropped on the floor.. :)
backslide from twenty one pilots pleaseee☝️

He is the Metal Elvis, It was on purpose!
React to together again by timcast next!
King for a day, please reaction
I'm gonna get sh*t for this, because even though I love his voice, there's a bit of a 'Cher' sound to it. It works so well though.
Also I listened to this song a *lot* after I put in my two weeks notice that I was leaving my job to go to a new one. I had good memories from the job I had, but it was kind of a vibe that it was time for a change.
So this song has two singers, The bald guy is Danko Jones. He's only featured in this song. He's not with the group
React to STMLT - TWILIGHT
there are 2 different singers in this song
Ок, давайте жениться?!!! ;)

There are WAY better songs for you to learn Volbeat..
Do you know any of the best? Because from the ones I heard my favorite go 1.) Black Rose 2.) Evelyn 3.) Being 1
I’m always looking for more Volbeat haha
