Thank you❤ so much for this video! Can u please tell us how many hours you spend after school correcting the students' HOMEWORK and creating lesson plans? Thanks in advance!😀
Planning to move from NJ to CA, I am a bilingual teacher with a M.A degree, 8 years of experience, what district in south CA do you recommend that hire bilingual teachers? Thank you!
Honestly, I wish I had a straight forward answer to your question. Every district is unique with diverse needs. I would first ask what language you are bilingual in. If I am assuming that you are bilingual in Spanish, you are needed for sure in LA and SD. Of course, not limited to these areas. If you visit www.cde.ca.gov, you can scope out data in different districts. I hope this helps.
Does NJ have reciprocity for CA? You might have to fill other requirements through CTC? There's dual immersion schools in LA district, if you're second language is Spanish.
Hi! Thank you for the information in this video. I was just wondering if that pay chart was for teaching middle school or elementary school. Did you get paid less as an elementary school teacher? Thanks!
@@teatimeteaching4859 if you buy any school supplies i highly recommend dollar general to shop and you get a deal on it. Also make sure you keep receipts and make a copy and give the actual receipt to the school treasurer or secretary
@@teatimeteaching4859 you are welcome i helped my former elementary school teacher with school supplies. I'm a bus driver so I know how teachers are struggling with the purchase of supplies. I don't want to see a student without or any teachers stressing about getting school supplies
Teachers make the lowest salaries....because we went 4 years of college as an engineer,......plus 2 more years to get the credentials...that is 6 years; to get psid the lowest salaries...😢😢😢👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️🤸♀️😩😩😩😩😩
I love these videos. But all of the videos on surviving off of a teacher's salary are made by teacher's who live in double income households. I want to know how to survive on a teacher's salary as a single person. I wonder if it's even possible due to the lack of videos about it.
You are real AF I like that u kept it to the point
Good for you guys! I'm guessing "debt free" in California is tough.
Wages need to go up $27 , after 3 year of working at school, pay raise $30 /hr.

No problem. The pay chart is for all teachers in my district k-12. In my opinion, elementary school teachers should get paid more :).
@Ricardo Porto In my district specifically yes.

@@sdavis-williams7772 yes I so both of those things but thank you for informing teachers who read these comments. God bless you.

I understand. I hope more single income teachers make informative videos about this topic. Sorry I couldn't help you.
@tea time teaching
Teachers should be paid a merit based income rather than a fixed salary.
Are you a teacher?
