I really wish they had a muppets show pseudo live at the Disney parks. I mean, sure, they have muppets 4D, but just imagine a mixed animatronic/tv screens show with the main Disney cast (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, goofy) as the guest stars? I think that would be a massive hit!!!
Jim Henson was doing live performances all the way back in the 1950s and worked on a Broadway Muppet show in the 1960s. That project never happened, but ideas from it were repurposed into the Muppet show a decade later.
This is amazing. I hope you either do Otamatone renditions of either Rainbow Connection or Being Green. They're heartfelt songs that would be amazing to listen and recreate 😊
That's weird. It looks like the 'Otamatone' and 'Original' subtitles were swapped around. The original is on the left, for those confused. I can't believe the puppets replicate the otamatone movements so perfectly!

For example, if I lay it on the left side, I hear the Muppets. But if I lay it on the right side, I hear all the Otomatones. SCIENCE!

Watching this intro brings back many good memories. Of course as I grew my bedtime changed to later and I got to watch exciting 80's prime time fare like the A-Team, Knight Rider, and The Incredible Hulk!! The otamatone version of the intro is hilarious!! 😂😂😂
