    I really appreciated hearing your ad promo. I like how you talked about the show and had basically two calls to actions. Not just a "hey this is me," but also, "please listen to the podcast." Very helpful.

    Totally agree, as a solo podcaster the lack of feedback from listeners is quite deafening. And thank you for another good video from Buzzsprout. Just subscribed Smells Like Human, so, looking forward to tucking into that on my down times.

      The comment section is why I tried so hard to get into TH-cam despite not being interested in making video content. I really wish there was a social media aspect to some podcast platforms, discussions on episodes etc. I just moved to Spotify and the quality of listener is much better, but I feel like I have to use twitter and instagram which…meh

    • @MarkHebblewhite
      @MarkHebblewhite ปีที่แล้ว

      @@UntangledKnots yes 👍 you totally get it. I've just started doing YT on my business channel for that single reason, but, damn when I do a video - obviously the production time goes up massively. Works out 4:30 on the days I do my podcast, video and a short. Funny enough a 60 second short takes me longer to do than long form video or my podcast. For insta, Tiktok and Twitter I just dump up the footage from what I did for YT. I'm going to have to employ someone to do all my editing as it's getting too much, especially as I want to do it Monday through to Friday, as I do a daily workday podcast and whilst that content is in my mind I can transfer it over to video.

      Alban is using a Sony ZV-E10 with a Sigma 16mm 1.4 lens. If you want to go deeper we highly recommend checking out www.youtube.com/@tombuck/ who has a great channel on gear! (He's also the one that gave Alban those recommendations).

    I'd be interested in knowing which program you're using for interviewing Ross. This definitely is 10X the quality of Zoom. This is one reason why I haven't put my podcast interviews on my regular TH-cam channel because the quality of the video is very poor. What are you using?
