I have a lot of respect for Tom Dove, incredibly talented angler, not a sales person hard selling goo and every Korda product, gives good advice and can catch anywhere.
Its amazing that you catch at all with the amount of bait over your swim, and all the gear these use is ridicules all for profit not for catching, i use a fixed 1ounce lead 4inch band rig 13mm pellet with 2,4 mm pellets in pva bags and literally catch sweaties all day whilst know it alls are chucking 5kg of boilies and spod mix in, wondering why there nets never get wet haha i love it!
Really enjoyed the video! getting back into the carp fishing again myself had a 15 year break for personal reasons. but i am now getting back into and at the same time creating a TH-cam channel so others can follow my journey. Your video was very inspirational and i see many things have changed over the years "LOL"
Focus on the start people. These swims were saved for them. Never watch these videos and think you can just turn up and replicate what they do. Look at it like a movie.

most lakes i fish in, every so many month they go in and get all the leads of the bottom, but i agree, can't be good for the lake at all if everyone is dropping them
@@LicensedBodyguard what difference does it make if there are leads on the lake bed or stones??? Swans and birdlife cant swallow leads so what is the difference?
@@mattiemclean9882 dumping one container of toxic waste into the sea would have a negligible effect too... Quite obviously the problem comes when everyone does it multiple times.

Yh a little too easy for me used to fish on top but nothing better than a screamer running off the bottom! Its what i live for haha
I’m the same mate, fish just using a bag with pellet or crushed boilies and handful of boilies and catch, had thirties and a forty Fishin this way.
