Regarding High calcium and/or low thyroid hormone.. what specific numbers are considered good?
Since constipation is such a common PD symptom, any thoughts if fixing the gut can improve PD? Braak's hypothesis?
I drink hot coffee and tea in the morning and try to go to the bathroom then.
Regarding the All-bran buds cereal, I also mix in Fiber-One with Quaker's Raisins & Spice Instant Oatmeal and warm milk. I found eating a daily large lettuce/cucumber salad is helpful.

Most important is to have a balanced diet, preferably Mediterranean diet. Dietician evaluation highly recommended. Constipation treatment in PD is the same as general population. Just make sure you have a normal TSH and normal calcium levels, usually your primary physician check that annually. Hot coffee with empty stomach works in many patients/general population.
