Yes, the ones with the red stripe on their wheels are authentic original Red Lines. The Buzz Off one was a Tri Baby originally from 1971, and the blue version you have would be released as Buzz Off in 1973, with enamel paint. The original Hot Wheels Red Lines were spectraflame paint, released 1968-1973.
Hey TH-cam, If you're going to allow a bazillion commercials to pollute the videos - please play them at the BEGINNING or at THE END of the videos please, not right in THE MIDDLE!!!
Real nice vintage diecast collection. As you mentioned during your showing many of the vehicle s are hotwheels redlines. Even the vintage carrying case is awesome. Thanks for sharing your collection.
Oh yes and i still own some Redlines that I will sell off eventually and I’m 65 and still collect! Only I’m getting older so asap I’ll be selling everything along with some redlines still in their original packaging!
215th thumb's up brother and beautiful classics shared and those are redline's and enjoyed watching them all and goodluck hunting always and have a wonderful week brother 😎👍🙏❤️💯
That's a cool collection case, most of mbx ford capris were painted orange or red, the most rare were the ones painted emerald green or metallic red like yours so you can say that you have a chase piece of a kind! And yes they are redlines the hws you have!
Your uncle and I would be about the same age. Very nice collection, brings back lots of memories. I belonged to the Matchbox Collectors Club around ‘72 -‘73 and had that catalog, stents hours looking at all those cars. My brother and I had lots of those redline hot wheels and raced them all so they got pretty banged up. Hot wheels made a tool to bend the wire axles to tune the car to run better, nothing like trying to learn wheel alignment when you are 6 or 7 years old! Thanks for posting this video!
@@CSmith-gb1slthat’s because most kids who got hot wheels were boys. The pink ones either weren’t bought for the boys or the boys took bad care of them and they ended up destroyed.
@@ICECAPPEDSKY I have one iridescent SF deep pink 312P, beautiful, I thought then & now. Purple was my favorite, so many of my RL's were purple. I understand that was not a popular color as well. I generally did not see many in pink if any.
@@CSmith-gb1slthis hobby is not even remotely dying off. More people collect model cars more than ever before and people hunt for cars on TH-cam and other social media
@@ICECAPPEDSKY I sold many over the past couple years for pennies on the dollar (& people wanted them for less). Needed room... & another thing they cant be in loose condition. Kids want to stare at a phone all day anyway.
The Hot Wheels Redlines were first manufactured in 1967 and went in the store in 1968 so you can say redlines ran from 1968 until 1977 , with the earlier production run should have 1967 printed on the bases, they are usually desired more, after 1977 they were called, The Black Walls and even some of them are very desirable among collectors, especially the white interiors, for the redlines! The best thing to do is get a copy of Earlier production runs and then soak in the everything possible 😉!
Neat find. Definitely some original HWs and MBs. The case appears to have spent some time in a "moist humidity" - perhaps a basement. The bases (bottom) are generally very corroded. Still desirable cars for collectors. Fun to watch!
Awesome collection!! Remember the year on the bottome denotes the first year of that casting not the year of that actual car. Although yours are certainly old.
yes they are redlines very collectable and sought after..they are all pitted due to moisture getting to them ..please store them in a cool dry place ..even better clean them all up firstly i would also remove them from that case and get the case all disinfected and cleaned up before storing them in it again.
That's a 1971 Redline Mutt Mobile, The orange VW Bug looks like it was "Kid-Painted"...Sad because if that's a real Redline VW Bug without a sunroof....That's $$$$
Yes I had the thunder stick setup and I really loved it. I believe the other car was another Monte Carlo but it was red. And yes they did come only as far as I know with that track set and finding one in mint condition is pretty much impossible. But I must have really fell in love with that body style as a child because my first car was a 77 Monte Carlo with t-tops I bought from my aunt at the whopping price of $1,000 in 1989 a lot of money for an 18 year old.. I was eligible to drive when I was 16 and my father was going to give me his very nice condition Dodge Omni 4 door. He was a little insulted but understood 2 years later when I had saved up the money to buy that Monte Carlo .... Even had crager SS wheels.
@@daveculp308 Actually the Red Car (#23) in the Thundershift was a '75 Ford "Torino Stocker", but it shared Bases/Grille with the Monte Carlo Stocker. (so you won't see the vehicle name on its base) The Monte Carlo later came out in Blue non Stock Car redline called the "Lowdown" .
There's just not enough appreciation for the OG vintage stuff in the current hobby. The only thing they seem to care about is that JDM garbage and Fast Furious crap that overflows the tables at most diecast shows.

Yes,Red Line, nice collection!
And valuable.

It's cool that the cars ended up with someone who appreciates them. My nephew doesn't care about my die-cast collection.
Yeah, he knows I collect diecast and these were just sitting there collecting dust and he asked if I wanted them.
That's a shame this hobby will die off. This was truly fun collecting when they were opened and at least gently played with indoors.

The VW Bug w/no sunroof is money!
Oh yeah?
No that’s wrong. If it’s from 1968 without the sunroof then that would be worth a small fortune. But that one in general is money as well
Wow..what a cool collection!
Thank you!
Cool to see these!
Nice redlines , blackwalls and vintage MB

Nice cars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks!!
@@TheDiecastStop you're welcome anytime!!!!!
Pink is a valuable color.
That's what I've heard
Most of the cars were held out of view of the camera.nice collection.
they were?
You do realize the date at the bottom is the copy right date ... not the date it was actually produced
I do now, Still old though.
Hi, I just subbed to your channel.
Awesome, I appreciate it!

Any hong Kong casting for Hot Wheels. From 68 to 75. They are a redline

I honestly believe that was my case, I had all those cars!!
You and my uncle had similar taste! lol
That whit police cruiser 442 olds with red light red line are desired by many collectors so in good shape goes for a high price now.
That's awesome, i've been learning alot.

60's - 80's as i'm hearing.
Yes all the hot wheels are red lines

@@TheDiecastStop So sad....are you looking to sell it.....I do Redline Restorations and would love to work on it...
Thank you, but not at this time. These are sentimental because my uncle gave them to me from his childhood.
Super hot wheels
Thanks!
That yellow Monte Carlo is super super rare oh my God. If anyone reads this I'm looking to find one
It was fairly common remembering back, though it was also part of the Thundershift set, so many were beat up in use too.
