Just got mine and realized due to seat height you need the longest paddle available. I’m 6’1 and 192lbs so I’m a little bigger guy but it made all the difference. The kayak is so stable and wind doesn’t affect its tracking I love it
Yeah that is the only thing. I have a 250cm paddle and it still is not long enough. But rigging up a motor to it like an outboard is really nice. Glad ya got into an outlaw!🙌🏻

Took mine out for the second time today with a trolling motor installed. Loved it! First time it was pretty windy with almost a steady 15 to 20 mph wind. Wore me out..haha
I am working on getting a trolling motor for mine because I know all too well tryin to paddle across a lake with those wind speeds😂
I have same kayak I tipped mine over within 45 minutes on the water I was sitting down it will tip over it happened this past October.
That’s unfortunate. I have to stand on the very edge of mine and force it to tip over. Usually its a weight thing when these kayaks tip or your center of gravity is off
PFD: NRS Chinook. Best on the market IMO. Super stoked you’re part of the yak gang now!

Another thing to look at with PFDs.... don't really worry about price, you can't price your life. But the Stohlquist piseas PFD is one to look at as well, good price and has pockets, which are a must IMO. 😎

Gonna be getting mine hopefully in a few days, been looking for a good option for a while since my old one was too small for me and my gear. This one fits the bill good! Can't wait!

I got the green moss one I put a trolling motor on it 3 months ago and just put foot steering on it, I’m so happy about it so far

on your car, do you have this strapped down in a kayak holder or is it just strapped down
on your crossbars? And if just on the crossbars does it sit level?
Sits on my jeeps roof. I use the foam blocks with the straps and then a ratchet strap through the center. Its not perfectly level but it is dang close💯
