Bathing Kuan Imm

Well, pardon my nervousness, my slip of my tongue. It's my first time narrating something in my videos. No matter how prepared one is, there's always the chance for slip-ups, and there are plenty here! Anyway, this video is about the annual ritual in my family a few days before Chinese New Year when I prepare our house deity, the Goddess Kuan Imm for a bath in scented water. This is a ritual observed in my family for decades, since the days of my grandmother. Perhaps even earlier too, but this is not something that I can claim because I wasn't around to observe it yet. But this ritual was handed down from her to my mother and now, to me.
