Another nice conversation mate. The girls at some points were laughing when you were talking, I think they were quite happy to see your fluency in Chinese
I got the feeling she didn't want to stop talking! I picked up on a couple of interesting topics that I have been interested in that actually answered a question or two for me! Great chat! I would actually like to see her again as she seems well grounded in her information!
I love your videos. My only request would be that you activate chine subtitles. I think it would be great for learners of chinese to follow the conversation with chinese subtitles. That said, i understand that this is an almost impossible ask. It would be too much work. Anyway, keep up the great work
That was a fascinating conversation, my Mandarin is very poor but it gives me inspiration the way you can relate to so many different people. I know the whole of China is the same time zone but I wasn't aware just how many hours difference in XinJiang.
man its so good. hey Jack can u turn the bad youtube sub on so i can get the chinese for this its decent with saying the right words just for anki cards
I know this dish is not very symbolic of England but haggis and any dish similar (animal provenance) would be greatly appreciated in the north and north west of china. Keep in mind the holy trinity of red meat in northern china (excluding dongbei and hebei) is beef, lamb and camel. You could transpose it to England with beef/veal, lamb and venison (stretch it enough and wild game could be include) 😂😂 Northern cuisine is flavourful due to the fat content of meat. Very similar to England, north of 45 in Canada (where I'm from).
British people should take as a compliment that so many other countries know about our food. Tons of countries have food similar to the U.K's it's just that most people don't know about it.
True did. I travelled abit through Germany and Poland and their good wasnt exactly super advanced. Was similar to UK, meats, potato and vegetable for most dishes
我是哈萨克斯坦人,even tho lots of Kazakhs started moving back to Kazakhstan after we gained independence, we are still one of the biggest ethnic groups in Xinjiang/ET(after Uyghurs and Han)
His mandarin is much much better than other polyglots. But, to do this kind of content, he really needs "oil" to make it not too "dry" and "stiff" that finally can get more viewers & subscribers.✌👍
His content is way better than most other language youtubers. He's doing just fine and is starting to grow. Not everyone needs to resort to rubbish clickbait and reactions.
@@aaronkeane2336 With more than a hundred videos so far, I don't think so. In this YTube realm, we need fun n entertainment at the same time. Poorly, YTube needs VPN in China, so it would be tough for this guy. Anyway, good luck.. ✌
Mad respect for your language skills in chinese but i have to say it is not as satisfying as watching xiaoma, kazuma or laoshu (r.i.p. i still go back and watch). Still, you have great interactions.
@@BritishJackTalks it is because of the shock reaction value which is fun but I also like videos like this one where there is meat and not all potatoes like most others lol (yes losing laoshu was a huge bummer he was the first language you-tuber I ever watched and he was murdered and his girlfriend was in on it )
aside from italy, I don't see how anywhere else in europe can throw stones without shattering their own glass houses...most european food is sweet and bland, most asian food is sweet and sour... just my american perspective! (favorite foods - enchilada, nacho cheese, onion grilled steak, salsa, veggie pizza with crushed red pepper, spaghetti marinara with crushed red pepper, italian garlic bread with cayenne, bean tostada, bean burrito, spicy fried rice with tofu)
I like these longer conversations!
Oh man these two girls are sweet and polite.
What a joy. So natural and you ask about things they are really interested in, and always you are so positive and encouraging.
Another epic conversation video, best language creator on YT

How mature and thoughtful they both were! Yeah really liked them!

I hereby officially support this request
Definitely one of your best conversations with people in China.

Great video Jack! :D

Cost of living in Xinjiang is higher, because most of the things are produced in the mainland, so transfer adds to the prices
Great info, thanks for commenting!

I like the reaction videos but they are quite repetitive, I enjoyed this longer conversation video much more.
我爱看你的视频!
非常感谢!
