Looks Great! Can't wait to give it a try. Never tried the wood chunk on the deflector before. Does that work better in general when you are cooking hot?
Hey brotha quick question. Can I cook these using the oven?
Good looking dish John
John, you weren't clear on the recommended cooking temp for these. Where did you set the dome temp? Thanks for everything!
Brilliant!
Fun recipe! I want to ask how you like your Fitbit Blaze? I just bought one for my wife's birthday next week.
Hey John - question, lone time Joe owner .. my kamado billows alot of black smoke, I'm told I need a 'clean burn' .. how do I do this, do I do this?
Tim Martinez great question, I’m a new Joe owner so this really helps to learn. Very excited to have to new hobby!
Stuffing the jalapeño in the open side first is a brilliant idea.. Dunno why I didn't think of it

The bacon looks raw in spots, just like it always does when it is wrapped around meat.....I rarely see a video where the bacon looks done when it is wrapped around meat....there is a scientific reason for this but I won;t go into that here lol....I really enjoy your videos and you do a nice job of producing and editing them......I have a Kamado style grill and I love it too...I watch your channel more than any other grilling channels.
I did say it LOOKED raw...my point is that soggy bacon just isnt appealing and I also noticed in your taste test that you avoided the bacon lol...This isn;t a knock on you sir..I have never been satisfied with bacon after I wrap it around meat.
time to try a different technique, maybe
Does anyone kno what temp he was cooking at?!?!?!?
Naa 350 works for everything man
400-450
looks tight. may try this with real cheese instead.
