The fact she wasn't thinking about what she was doing is probably why she's so good here, but in Minecraft she had issues. Also, she probably learned these skills to the point of forgetting what's she learned (like we do with walking, eventually we just walk without thinking about every last detail regarding putting one leg before the other).

I think the reason Gura was in the middle of the ocean sleeping is because Ina carried her before they started to nap. So, in the end Gura can’t swim, but she can survive underwater and float to fight with Ina.
This is such an interesting series for me, as you can tell the cultural differences in conversation. The English side is very simple and easy to understand / learn. Looking forward to see Ina and Gura grow in this short VA role!

It seems Ina has forgotten she can open a portal to travel long distances, a la, Tako Eats delivery services... But this is good too, reminds me of the anime where the group of girls gets stuck on the island, and it teaches us basic survival tips, it's name is escaping me right now though.

I think the JP staff directed her to speak slower and coherently for the Japanese audiences. Also the writing is trying to be colloquial; things like making Ina say swim ring instead of floaties or boobs instead of booba. It’s so it’s a one to one localization. Kinda like how we do localization in the west.
I love how they remembered to make a gura needs floaties joke, but updated it so that she only needs them to swim long distances. Helps sell her adorable little kid vibes.
i guess Gura is master of survival... in her Minecraft stream at first she have hard time, but look at her recent video she is like an explorer she survive longer than other, she battle other aim from the behind very fast even she's not die in her first ender dragon battle
