As a Brit, I think America carries NATO far too hard and us European countries do not pull our weight, I understand why Donald Trump would want to ‘pull out of Europe’ because we aren’t even trying. The UK France and Germany should, realistically be able to beat Russia alone if it came to a land invasion, let alone the fact we have the rest of the incredible nations on the continent to aid us. I love having the US on our side, but I fear we are too reliant and we aren’t cooperating with them, rather letting them carry our dead weight. We each need to exceed our 2% of GPD on defence in order to take some weight off the US shoulders and show them that we are willing to play our part in the upcoming world war rather than be used as glorified US bases. I appreciate the American help, I understand the American frustration.

The same situation applies to all the weapons that the US particularly spent on Ukraine.
The Ukraine is a US proxy war and it's already lost. We're just making the surviving people of the Ukraine wealthy, Zelensky is a billionaire, Ukraine politicians are millionaires, Ukrainian refugees have their medical care and pensions paid for by the US. It's time to pull the plug.

Yes, the US made Israel give up 60,000 km2 of land (3 times bigger than Israel today) promising aid in return. 5. Does the US benefit from aiding Israel? Absolutely, Israel battle tested US F-15, F-16 and F-35, promoting US weapons to the world as capable and combat proven thus increasing interests and sales for the US and then sharing operation data of the systems back to the US. Another benefit for the US is that the aid effectively "kills" Israeli military systems that competes with US made systems. The US pressured Israel to cancel Israeli Lavi fighter jet program because the US was afraid it would compete with the US F-16 on the market. So in return the US proposed ongoing aid. You see, the US aid is not free gifts, it's a tool. Some say US foreign "aid" is economic imperialism with strings attached. 6. What will happen to Israel if the US withdraws all support and isolate Israel? The US stands to lose almost as much as Israel. Russia and China will cozy up to Israel for Israeli cutting edge technology. This will be the US and Europe's biggest nightmare, imagine Russia and China with Israeli made weapons. The US will never allow this to happen.

However, this cost is easily bypassed by China, where they simply steal the technology, or buy it on the black market from supposed allies (Israel) who we freely provide our intelligence and military technology with. Compounded by the fact we "integrate" foreign nationals into our military, offerring a "path to citizenship" for nationals of hostile countries, is enabling a license to steal/spy... It will involve massive cuts, including to entitlement programs as well as raised taxes. Cuts or tax increases on their own wouldn't be enough. When it comes down to actually walking the walk, very few people actually want to commit to those hardships and thus the problems become even worse and are kicked down the road to the next generation. Eventually that bill is going to come due and whatever generation is stuck holding the check is going to get completely devastated. We apparently absolutely hate our descendants.

This strategy is not only cost-effective but also strengthens the partnership between the U.S. and Ukraine. It helps Ukraine defend itself without burdening the U.S. with the costs and logistics of disposing of old equipment. So, in the end, sending military aid to Ukraine is a win-win: it supports an ally in need and saves the U.S. time and money.

Our military spending has no strategic vision. Thats why we have 11 aircraft carriers that represent a vast amount of money (too big to conceive). And much like battleships who reached their apex in WWII a good 20 years after they were already obsolete, so are aircraft carriers today.
