Hello friends & welcome to September at Birchberry!
It is the beginning of autumn and there is a chill in the air. I can't think of any better place to be in the fall then here, in the forest of Birchberry and I am excited to share it with all of you.
This week we have started our winter preparations. Firewood is needed to keep us warm and we have already been heating our cottage as the nights have been getting chilly.
A new month means a studio clean out and then we are off to the city to get art supplies and fall decor. I will show you how I make my favourite Pumpkin Spice cookies which we will enjoy in front of the fire. Watch my DIY fall leaf topiary come to life.
Later, we will go on an early autumn nature walk to one of my beloved locations.
