“Don’t you tell ME” is one of my favorites, and depending on my mood, often #1 on my playlist. Great music video, and despite the Maids still outperforming it in lives, it stands on its own because of the storytelling and Easter Eggs.

This MV was the first to show the band members idiosyncrasies, aka MISA being shy and withdrawn, Miku making a omelet decorated with ketchup from her days in the Maid Café , Akane eating it, Kanami swooning over Saiki, and many others! And a great song to boot!
This video was a metaphor for how and why they got away from their first Label/Manager (Indie-Pop), they have said in interviews that they liked this one, because it told the story and they got to break stuff, also after this they started Label jumping until they got what they wanted (total artistic control of their music)
This one is one of the bands favorite MV's because "We got to break things."
They should do that in every video! lol

the live video is worth a listen with a extended solo. this MV perfectly encapsulates the Band-Maid image. a rebellious group of Maids that ain't taking any more shit.

I have to mention Akane's heartbeat on the base drum during the solo. The first time I noticed it was during Kanami and Misa's amasing solo at the Live at Zepp Tokyo concert on 13 April 2018, and it's still my favourite version they've done live for this song. That solo was so full of emotion and it fits the song so perfectly. I just love it and a must for true fans to react to.

"Choose Me" is the perfect pop-punk song, but I'll be damned if this song doesn't give it a run for its money, especially live where it's even better.

When I saw this MV I said to myself: "Wow! What a band of wild girls.". Don't You Tell Me had more of an impact on me than Thrill. Band-Maid creates chaos wherever they go.
Easter eggs on the members in this one. You caught MISA with the drinking. As you learned about them in the documentaries, see if you can pick out the others. You haven't done the Miku ones yet, but come back to this one after watch the Miku documentary. Now you have to do the live version from shot at Yokohama Arena, the same Okyu-ji as the "Hate?" video. This was the perfect opportunity to do a double header of the MV first & then the live at Zepp, Tokyo 2018 which is still the best live version. Just saying :)

I gotta address someone else's comment...but can't be arsed sayin it directly: I listen to the Maid albums in rotation and in no way is their studio music "Crap". We know they KILL IT live but the studio is the reference...where their art is formed and presented 👌💪🔥
