    I'd wear this as casual winter jacket. Looks awesome.

    This jacket saved me from road rash in a low side crash last week , a woman on a scooter changed lane without looking and went straight into me .

      Sorry to hear about the crash but glad to hear you're ok! -DrewZilla

      RevZilla thanks , thanks to helmet jacket and pants I am ok . The woman who crashed me had no safety gear . She had to be taken to the hospital . The police had a checkpoint close to the accident so they saw the whole thing they charged her with reckless driving on top of being hurt . So be careful out there guys . Even you drive safe there is always someone who doesn't and that's the people you have to look out for . The bike will be in the garage for two months .

    Please help. I love the look of this jacket. I like the snaps on the arm. I am having a hard time looking for a summer jacket that has this camo pattern like this with the arm snaps. Jackets that I have found are unavailable. Do you have any suggestions for a hot weather jacket that looks like this that is available?

    Nice jacket, just got one. Really good quality, is worth to buy it, and the urban camo makes it so different from the other jackets. I think you forgot to mention that the hood is removable.

    Hey guys.
    How does this compare to the Blake in terms of protection?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Bo, the Blake Jacket uses leather in the high-impact areas (arms), 500D polyamide for the torso, and CE Level 2 Seeflex impact armor for in the shoulders and elbows. Comparatively, the Flare Jacket uses 600D polyester throughout (similar strength to the 500D polyamide) and CE Level 1 Knox Flexiform armor in the shoulders and elbows. Both jackets accept REV'IT!'s CE Level 2 Seesoft back protector insert. So, the Blake's leather and CE Level 2 armor provide more protection, but the Flare is still appropriate and safe for all-around riding. The Flare is also waterproof, while the Blake is not. -DrewZilla

    Considering this jacket, what size would you suggest for a regularly S size guy? 5'11, 165 lbs, 38" chest.
    This is because the Stealth hoodie/jacket runs slim, I don't know if the fit of this one is the same!
    Thanks in advance and keep up the great job!

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Flare Jacket isn't cut as slim as the Stealth, but you're still on the cusp of small and medium. I would start with size small. -DrewZilla

      Ok!! Thanks a lot for your input!

    • @tirant_blanc
      @tirant_blanc 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      S is way too small for the regular guy. I normally wear M jackets (5'7, 143 lbs). I tried S size for this particular jacket and it felt like a straitjacket.

    "The Black / XL is unavailable. Click to be notified when it is available (Pre-orders will be filled first)"
    I'm interested in this jacket, but you don't have size ¿?
    is there any similar jacket configuration to see? thanks

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Flare Jacket is available for pre-order, because it has been announced but is not yet available in stock for sale. Sizes are expected to ship March 2017. A similar jacket would be the Icon Raiden UX Jacket. -DrewZilla

    How warm is this jacket exactly? I live in LA, but rarely ride in the day, think it'll be good in like 60's weather?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it should be fine in the 60s. Above 70, it will start to feel warm. -DrewZilla

    Does anyone know how this jacket is next to the Burn model in case of warmth? It looks like pretty much te same jacket although they specifically mention wintertime in this video and not in de review of the Burn model.

    Between the Rev’it Flare, the Icon Raiden UX, the Icon Raiden DKR, the Icon Merc, and any other comparable jacket in this looser fitting style, which would be best for the type of weather we have in Austin, Texas? It’s hot and humid in the summer and can be very cold in the mornings during the winter. I’m looking for a jacket that will match my 2018 MT-09 motorcycle in style, keep me safe on my 40 minute highway commute, while also allowing me to add and subtract layers as needed. Any help would be much appreciated.

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Merc is the lightest and isn't as abrasion-resistant as the others. The Raiden UX doesn't have much ventilation for the hot and humid days. The Flare has great protection but only a little bit of ventilation, so it's also not great for hot and humid weather. The Raiden DKR is the most versatile of the bunch, as it has good protection, a full sleeve thermal liner, and decent ventilation. -DrewZilla

    More colors! Even if they're all different versions of camo. I'd go for a subdued green/brown/black without hesitation.

    Which Revit trousers would you recommend to go with this jacket?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can wear them with any REV'IT! pants/trousers, but if you're looking for waterproof pants/trousers, consider the following. -DrewZilla

    About the insulated liner, is it full sleeve or sleeveless like the Ignition 3?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Flare has a full-sleeve thermal liner. -DrewZilla

    thoughts on using this jacket in Miami, FL weather?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      You'll be sweating except for the coldest days in Miami. With the thermal liner out, it will likely feel hot above 70 degrees. For a similar style with a bit more ventilation, consider the Icon Basehawk. -DrewZilla

    Are there zippers in the back to connect any motorpants to it ?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a single short connection zipper to zip the jacket to any of REV'IT!'s pants that also have a short connection zipper. -DrewZilla

    Can I upgrade the armor?

    • @RevZilla
      @RevZilla  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can put CE Level 2 Seeflex armor in. The Seeflex RV15 is a direct fit in the elbows, but the RV16 shoulder armor is smaller than the stock Knox armor, so it might not be worth trying to upgrade the shoulder armor. However, you could get the RV10 armor and trim it to fit. -DrewZilla

    so no drop seat?

    • @RevZilla

      It has a very slight drop tail, but it's better for upright riding and not a full tuck. -DrewZilla
