Kashmir Great Lakes Trek Day 3 | Trekking to Vishansar Lake | Nichnai Pass Adventure

oin us on Day 3 of the breathtaking Kashmir Great Lakes Trek! 🌄 We ascend from Nichnai (11,500 ft) to Vishansar Lake (12,000 ft), crossing the scenic Nichnai Pass at 13,100 ft. This 12 km trek takes approximately 7 hours, rewarding trekkers with stunning views, frozen lakes (in July), and a chance to experience the tranquility of Vishansar Lake. 🏕️
Lunch at the Vishansar campsite is followed by a short 15-minute walk to the mesmerizing lake. Flocks of sheep and local shepherds add to the charm of this remote paradise. Watch out for thrilling games of volleyball and cricket at the campsite, and if luck permits, we might even try fishing (with permission from the Srinagar Fishing Department).
