Impressive. Danya Is not only the best chess coach on TH-cam, a great commentatore and One of the top blitz/bullet players on earth, he's also one of the only people on earth Who can ride a hippopotamus
Cmon we get this on every video i mean we all love our sensei but dont need to overmention i dont want him to turn into hikaru or magnus type arrogance
@mr.scream2934 he's not the type of person that gets arrogant don't worry. And Secondly if magnus gets arrogant, he has the right to. He's the best player of all time.
I actually found that the various series of Aman from chessbrah are better to build systematic positional thinking. Danya is great no doubt, but better for higher level chess. Better for players above 2000 imho
I read them whenever I can and have no words to describe how grateful I am at the overwhelming amount of love and support. It's a great privilege to be able to do what I do! Much love, Danya
You asked for honest feedback in your intro to the speedrun, which I am watching right now. So, here it is: this particular video here was JUST GREAT! Elaborating on the deflection technique was very interesting - thanks a lot for this. I am really looking forward to watching the entire series and maybe even catch some of it on Twitch. Keep it up, please!
This is the secret sauce! The methods you demonstrated for deflecting the knight on f6 were extremely instructive. I already had a game where I was able to implement the knight hop to d5 and won quickly after that. Thank you for providing the best and most enjoyable chess content out there.
I spent more time than I'd care to admit confused out of my mind because I could have sworn I'd seen these games before. Then I remembered I was feigning for Danya content and so watched some twitch vods xD
You’re my favorite TH-camr by far and I’ve learned more about chess from you than anyone else on this planet. Some feedback : the majority of your demographic is in the 1400-1700 rating range and it’s been over a year since we’ve gotten any content from this range. Please spend most of your time in here (even if that means lowering your rating once you get to 1800)
I do hope danya gives more instructive videos like this on intermediate players rather than 1000 rated beginners. However, Very impressive new approach to scandi+indian setup Learned a lot from H file attack ideas e5+Ne4
It’s really the small moves like Qc4 that win the game. Squeezing out as many potential tactics from each tempo as possible. That pin on f7 was huge later in the game.
re: intro - I nearly won a game against a chess expert from the St. Louis Chess Club but I lost because I didn't consider the King's escape route. Opponent made a huge blunder and had I thought about that I would've won. Considering the King's escape route is so important!
I have one weird request. If an opportunity comes would you please play with 2 rooks against the Queen. I’ve just never been able to withstand the onslaught of the Queen in such situations. Tyvm
Just an idea - what if you played bullet games (1+0) without explanation... and then after the game is done, then you can explain how your instincts caused you to play the moves that you play. I think bullet would fully ensure that you're playing with instincts only and not too much deliberation - and I would really be keen to learn how your mind works in such quick time controls.
I really wanna see a speedrun where you play from a losing position the whole run. Just can’t seem to think how you would get to a realistic bad position.
The H-file with a knight on f6 theme was a phenomenal lesson. Any literature you recommend that will have similar specific themes in it (i.e. deeper than general concepts)?
I would gladly watch your whole speedrun series if you kept playing 5|0 games like in this one. It's just too long when you play 15 or even 10-minute games and explain every step. I think it is totally fine if you give a short explanation of your moves during the game and then a deeper analysis of your thought process after the game.

He's the messiah!
Deeply appreciate the time GM Danya took to explain how textbook tactics can involve complications and nuances irl & how to resolve them.
Awesome thumbnail 😂 Kudos to Clyde.
I hope you read the comments sometimes. Thanks Danya for all you do and all you’ve done.

Poor guy was insisting on a rematch not knowing he would get adopted a hundred times over
I thought I was going crazy when I kept hearing the sound
Probably thought he woulda won if he used more time and he thought Danya would flag if they played again. Hilarious
As i get more into chess the more i realize how rare & amazing Danya is. Nobody can both teach & play like this guy. True GOAT. Appreciate all you do!
What a sequence of brilliant moves by Karpov
I swear. How to train that skill eludes me. The book by Charles Hertan gives me some hope.
This is the most fire thumbnail I've ever seen
You are a wonderful teacher, commentator and human being
I love watching your content, thank you so much for your work😇❤
5 min games are so packed with instruction. Love it
Danya’s videos always brighten my day
Thumbnail game is strong

I like the way he’s brutal and with lots of charisma at the same time. Thank you Daniel for the masterclass piece.
that breakdown of the h-file attack was gold, I don't know how many times I've had those attacks fizzle out by simply pushing g5
The subtleties in Karpov-Korchnoi was really deep. Great lesson.
Absolutely love the lecture on removing the knight on f6!
Same, this is one of my most favorite speedrun analysis and I have watched every single one since the start of them lol. Thank you so much Danya.
we need more daniel we love the content and we appreciate the work you put in thank you and hope to see more of this content
those examples of dislodging the knight is why danya's speedruns are the best ever
naroditski upload means its gonna be a good day
Fantastic job as always!! Thank you Danya

+1 cause Danya is undefeated. Keep it up brother, we love you
Tremendous thumbnail and thanks for upload again
Fantastic lesson, Daniel.
On a date but I have to watch anyway❤
Please don’t
Priorities straight
😂😂 My guy has his priorities
My boy, you're grabbing pawns when you should be looking for mate
Watch it together with your date! Imagine if they say "oh yeah Danya is great!", that's a mate in one right there.
He wanted that rematch lol
Love the 5+0 Danya!!
THE THUMBNAIL GOES CRAZYYYYYY
simply incredible thumbnail
The beginning intro tho 💣 well said
Tactics and amazing strategy put together for the Win!
Hell yeah for 5 minute games!!!
Thumbnail is fire
Cheers Danya 👍👍
10/10 thumbnail i cried
Legendary Danya
Game 2 and the examples were so extremely well explained. Everything else too, of course, but I've always had problems with such attacks.
Omg Danya, thank you very much
Best thumbnail
What a wonderful life you live. You are blessed
23:08 - YES A3! Finally I got one right :)
23:28 - GOD DAMN IT
You are best free chess teacher on TH-cam
Love the karpov game, one of my all time favorites
Recovering from wisdom teeth extraction and watching the speedruns. Thanks Danya
5‘ games are supercool for a change 👏 i like to watch 3 games and the faster pace

yay new video! thx danya
The thumbnail goes so hard
Finally! Another bitz video!
That 2nd game attack was so brutal.
Big ups!
Thumbnail is insane
"Don't fall in love with a particular piece...every piece can be given away for the greater good"
Any day a speed run drops is a good day
I do hope danya gives more instructive videos like this on intermediate players rather than 1000 rated beginners.
However, Very impressive new approach to scandi+indian setup
Learned a lot from H file attack ideas e5+Ne4
Just started making dinner this upload came at the best possible time
Man that guy wanted a rematch ☠️
last game was very entertaining. we need more of that lol.
The dude making these thumbnails needs a raise 😂

FYI, longtime viewer, love the content. Wanted to know how appreciated you are despite all the Kramnick bullshit. Don't change a thing.
My heart almost stopped several times. 5min chess is so stressful!
what i liked about pervious speedruns is that they were short/ These are goog, but long video are scary
Hey danya it may sound strange but my day was a total shit today thanks for the upload
9:44 guy offering a rematch multiple times, he was pissed off with that loss 😅😅
re: intro - I nearly won a game against a chess expert from the St. Louis Chess Club but I lost because I didn't consider the King's escape route. Opponent made a huge blunder and had I thought about that I would've won. Considering the King's escape route is so important!
As a student of English language Danya can be very good teacher along with teaching excellent chess
Rxh5 was the strongest move 24:27 cos you have Qg5
I have one weird request. If an opportunity comes would you please play with 2 rooks against the Queen. I’ve just never been able to withstand the onslaught of the Queen in such situations. Tyvm
If the 2 rooks are connected and have much potential to attack the king or grab pawns they are usually better than the queen
What a thumbnail haha
I'd love to see more hippo destruction
Naroditsky uploads, I click
the last game is insane, I usually poop my pants in such situations
praise
Amazing video Danya. Just want to point out that the audio volume was a bit lower than the usual videos.
IWithin the first ten minutes genius level instruction and play.
Hi Daniel. Great video as always. where do you analyze the games? Like which software do you use to lookup the old chess games?
Love from India.
Voice level is low in this video. I thought it was my headphones but the other videos are loud enough.
i like this low energy shit
love

Interesting games thanks !, do you play 2/1 or 3/2 much ? could be interesting time controls for a speed run ?
Good vid and games
Do a counter to the cow, just in case I play Tyler1
N e5 in the second game is gorgeous
