You are clearly enthusiastic about your 6 pack. Which is great and I am sure that you have been this excited since the beginning. So I’m confused as to why you don’t have any video footage of your camper from before you removed the stove hood and cooler cabinet.
I've used a camper of this type since 1978. You have just what you need. Good job. It's a learning experience that you will become comfortable with in no time. For power, a small portable generator works great if you're out where you can use it without disturbing anyone noise wise. But also they are quiet as well. It can charge automobile batteries and run small electrical heaters for warmth. UNLESS you need to run much electrical equipment for a job , etc. a good deep cycle battery will hold a lot of energy to work well and can take a lot of charging and discharging for about $100.00 or so. I wish you much luck with your project. An isolator disconnects your starting battery from the deep cycle battery when the engine is turned off so you can't run it down by accident. It's small like a solenoid on older trucks and inexpensive to install into the system.
The pull up bar was really smart. Small, compact, cheap and out of the way. Remember Calisthenics are free, ultralightweight, you can take them anywhere and will last a lifetime. A bike rack attached to the front for maybe a trail bike ( saves alot of walking when your truck breaks down) is alot of fun. Snap in rod holders on the ceilings to keep fishing rods out of the way and ready, A backpack hanging on the wall for more storage. I see you already have your security system in place ( the dog). Eats what you like, is happy to see you anytime, and will smell something outside long before you ever see what it is. Lol.
I had a bike rack on the front for two years before I got the camper it looked really sharp but the two of them together just look like a homeless wagon coming down the street. The bike and the rack are both in storage right now I have a skateboard behind my seat if I ever need it Or just get bored🤓👍
I like the way you tie it down. I’ve thought about throwing a couple of long trucking lines across mine. I don’t believe you can have too many anchors. I have two in the front and one in the back on each side of mine.
I’m still waiting for someone to make a really good video of how to bolt these things down properly but with the wood in this old box I don’t think I would do it without the straps even if I had some bolts on it🤓👍
my dad has a sixpac camper to, very cool, we put large bolts thru the camper all the way thru the bottom of the truck bed also and fastened them from underneath the truck to inside on top of the camper floor
Very cool I was gonna do something similar to that, I’ve seen them on other trucks but when that eyeball ripped out of the sidewall of the camper I got concerned that the wood was too rotten to hold a bolt
THANK YOU…ESPECIALLY SHOWING YOUR electrical set up; THAT’S ALWAYS confuses me; your vid helped me understand it better…. 👍🏼👍🏼😃👣. PS…that camper’s nice…👍🏼👍🏼👠👣
Thank you I don’t really understand the electrical that well I basically just got a inverter hooked up to the battery there’s a guy in the comments earlier today that seem to have a good handle on it check it out. 🤓👍.
Thank you brother. 🤓👍 I feel just as safe in the camper as I did in any apartment that I’ve lived in and my dogs really good about scaring away zombies
Yeah I’m gonna do another one soon if I can get this electrical figured out The whole thing is wired but it’s not working right now🤓👍 thanks for the comment
I really want one of these right here Good video bro 😎
