Hi hi Ryan, just found your video & as luck would have it I’m about to try this range of flies. Thanks for the straight forward instructive video you’ve posted which I’m sure will make the tying easier. I’ll be out on the lochs next week so here goes. Tight lines to you, Derick.
Still going to tye up both versions of this pattern. Ryan, do you have any suggestions for a substitute for the black peacock glister dubbing? Unfortunately, glister dubbing is not something that is easily had in my area. Thanks
its a veniards product possible hends spectra dubbing or sybai might have an alternative also angelina fibre or non fusible fibre from craft stores or online and you could mix a black dubbing into those to darken. or use real peacock? #
