Yep, he's like a FN BR mad scientist who also spends tons of time scripting and editing this stuff. As a gamer dad who's shit at this game but trying to learn anyway, I so appreciate the explanations. My son just jumps in the game and 'gets it', when I need to sit and think first tons of time until things 'click', haha. I just hope Sly Jack blows up and gets well rewarded for his efforts. Recently SypherPK made a shoutout to this channel, so I hope that will do some good.
This helped so much. I always played those price control maps and wondered how the AI could shoot me back even though I had the right hand peek. This explains everything in perfect detail.
You just answered a question before I had the question, I was always wondering how players shot me even though I had a right hand peek but now I know all I need to do is back up and keep my distance a little more.
Honestly though this vid is facts, the real power of peeks is movement. If you’re not strafing at full speed, you won’t have peeker’s advantage/favorable character position latency. Just make sure you guys are moving as fast as possible to the side.
Wow very informative! I always struggled with window peeks because it was so awkward for me to not shoot the wall. I never realized that all it takes is to step back!
im a zero build player but this still gave me some miraculous insights that i will indeed be using in my future games. It shouldve been obvious bc i played val and cs where angle and distance from wall mattered. but in hindsight, i dont think ive played my fights using this. So i definitely will.
Bro not even lying when i watch other videos that give out peaking tips they dont answer my question, but when i tell you this content creator is mad underrated ❤ Genuinely keep up the work thank you bro
I can't wait to see a Fortnite BR creator who comes up with a peeking video that literally covers all (or at least most) scenarios and goes in detail explaining the best approaches in each situation. I know, for many kids it comes naturally. I'm an old (in a Fortnite context) gamer-dad trying to become a better duo for my son, and I have to marinate on every concept for a while... nothing comes naturally and easily, tons of effort. But, when I finally 'get it', then I can start improving first practising in creative with bots, and then on actual players. There are still tons of situations where I'm just not sure what the correct peek would be. Hesitation and sub-optimal peeks get me killed, even though my mechanics are decent (for casual). Thanks for your video.
Same with csgo, i already knew this but its a nice vid! I started using the u ramp for a week now and found new strats but its not ideal against overbuilders
even tho this was almsot a year ago this is so helpful and i have never seen anybody talk about it whatsoever and when i watch pros play they dont even use this 90% of the time
Against most players (yes even pros) a bad right hand peek still works in your favor. The damage amount shown in the vid is way lower than the damage the peeker can do with a full peek. I taught myself to be more aware of my health and what peeks i should make.
the point is they can shoot you first so you will die and you take a 50/50 which is bad and even so its not that big of a difference in damage having even a small advantage in damage can turn a fight around
@@theo328d look at it this way theres a chance you don't 200 pump everytime so this way is helping to still get a decent amount of damage while also minimizing the chances of taking any
this is called angle advantage and it’s important to note this is important in all shooter games not just fortnite, valorant and csgo are good examples of this being even more important
that ping thing must cancel out if you have the same ping cause I legit just died/killed the same guy lmao we both shot at the same time I have It clipped
yes, except for peekers advantage when he opens the window and runs into the peek he has the first peek. so right hand isnt always the answer but peekers advantage is
Crazy how unnoticed you go given how unique and helpful your content is

sypher pk made a video about him especially which had 750k views
@@mustafaahmed-v4p yes, I saw that video. Also though the same. Sly Jack hopefully will reap some rewards for the awesomeness he's peen posting 😉

bro this channel is so underrated, jerian needs to shout this guy out
Jerian already shouted him out on an old video
he has aldready
That's why I'm here

I understand this and use it against players frequently, its a really good habit to punish bad right-hand peeks and will help alot in most situations
Man 1 year too late😢

You have no clue how much this video helped me. I was struggling with peeks, and I was missing this little tip. Thanks!!!!!
on somewhat related advice, getting good at resetting your wall immediately after shooting is very helpful
Wow very informative! I always struggled with window peeks because it was so awkward for me to not shoot the wall. I never realized that all it takes is to step back!
Thanks!
Happy to help! Thanks for the Super!
And this tip works for every shooter game, such as cs:go and other games like both first person and third person shooters. Very good tips!

Oh my god! I just realized why I always get shot when doing these. Thank you so much.
I’m not gonna lie I’m just now finding out that you have to stand back from your window, there’s always more to learn with this game

the maps really help I used to struggle to back up when editing but now I’m all good thanks ❤

I needed this video
Nah this is the best video made hands down
standing back a bit for the right corner edit doesnt matter very much if you have a fast reset but the window edit definitely matters
Great video homie

This is a legit tactic in real life too...'don't crowd your cover'

Great explanation,
Whats is current map code of advanced peek? Please
Even a year after this vid released I learned so much lol

I've been like 30 minutes on the map and still understood nothing
The f bot keeps shooting me, even if i do it right
Literally have been in unreal and didn’t know this
how about when u have a left hand peek, is it still useful?
this guys brain is way to big bruh
After practicing in your map i am soo good at it
Thanks man
damn i love having 30ping all the time and 50in cups having 0.1 sec of delay is awful i hate it i really gotta move in somewhere else
Okay, but everything happens so fast that it doesn’t even matter
Underrated
I learned more things in this video then my whole 7 years in school 😂
this is by far the most helpful fortnite video I’ve ever watched

Does anyone know if there is a Advanced Peeks V1 but with No Build? I don't play build mode and have no idea how to.

Your the man, bro
Thanks
