This was the BEST video to wake up to on Halloween!! I am reading Out right now and I am really enjoying it! I read Ring by Koji Suzuki and The Hole by Hye-Young Pyun for the spooky season and I am picking up The Graveyard Apartment from the library today! Asian horror has been such an immense joy for me! So unbelievably scary and unsettling! I am addicted! I ordered Goth and am so excited for it to arrive!!!!

I felt the same about my best friends exorcism, I really liked it, thought it would make a great movie, but I hated the random racist/ableist moments. I get it's supposed to be "realistic" for the 80s but it still made me so uncomfortable

There's a movie called The Haunting that is based off of The Haunting of Hill House (the book) and it's actually accurate to the book. I recommend it.
