Wow! I can't begin to tell you how much I've been going around in circles trying to work out how to layer patterns make full songs using favourites. You've just made my day. Thanks 😁👍
Thank You for hint. You really helped me with audio interface setup in past. I do not already remember,in which video we discussed it, but now i have my own setup witjh JDXI. Thanks a lot again. Your videos are very helpfull 😊
i think if you setup jdxi to transmit midi sysex etc it might be possible to record your button / program sequence changes into a DAW or midi sequencer to help create a song. Those Yamaha QY10 or 70 might just fit the bill and offer a modicum of portability, might even just perch on the jdxi far right under fx knobs? I am SO ANNOYED at Roland litrally dropping the ball on this, stupid oversight and they didnt even fix it in any updates which probably could have been achieved. imagine being able to pattern chain and make songs onboard😳 try wot i said n see if it works? bless jb x
One, but certainly not the only reason I purchased a keystep pro. Still at times the immediacy of the JD-Xi just makes writing or creating ideas so easy, and I've written entire songs using favourites and recorded the track by manually switching favourites for the arrangement. Favourites is also quite a neat way to try out arrangement ideas that you can't replicate so easily in a DAW.

Thanks for your words. Good luck with your JDXi
I might have to watch your tutorial again to remember, but your video is exactly what I wanted to know! Thanks!😊
Very nice of you. Thanks
wouldn't we all be lost without tutorials such as yours?
Really good and thanks for sharing. I really enjoy the explanations.

now.. if favorites could be assigned to different keynotes, for triggering by an external seq...
