The Head Sovereign, the King, then appoints a government from those MPs representing the sovereign people to represent the Crown.
And then there's the House of Lords, whom traditionally were of families with generational interests in the history and continuation of the UK Constitution, not todays political appointees. They are to keep in check the government that represents the Crown.
So we have:-
The Sovereign people represented in Parliament.
The Crown represented by the Government.
The Lords representing themselves to prevent the Government (Crown) from tyranny and doing anything not in the interest of the British Constitution.
@@Itsallok You have to do a lot of reading because the UK constitution doesn't exist as a single document, making it an uncodified constitution - allowing the sovereign *PARLIAMENT* to amend it as necessary, thus proving my point.
ECHR is based on the UNHRC, we need to exit the lot and go back to sane and truly equal Common Law.

The Rwanda Bill is not compatible with the Good Friday Agreement that is the main reason the Judge said it wont apply to Northern Ireland. What is with you Far Right lots, are you guys prepared to break the Union?

There is no need to leave the ECHR. Just ignore them like Germany, France, Denmark, Italy and Sweden have done, The ECHR have no teeth and are at best an advisory body. They have no power and only 48 countries are members 27 of which are the EU countries en block.

Let’s get this straight.
In 2022 Germany deported 20,000 immigrants. In 2019 France deported 19,000 and 9,000 in 2020. Sweden said they trying to deport ALL muslims (around 80k). 500,000 illegals were being removed from Italy in 2018. Looking at Frontex (the EU border force) In 2019, 491,200 people were ordered to leave the EU. Spain removed 30 a day over a 4 year period. Where was the ECHR through all that ?

The ECHR is incorporated into the Godd Friday Agreement which is an International Treaty of which both the British and Irish governments are co guarantors. Removing the ECHR ftom the GFA would require a renogiation of the Agreement with the parties in Northern Ireland and the Irish Government.
