I loved that hotel I’m returning to it soon. It’s the first time I return to a hotel instead of trying a new one. My only problems is I think none of the rooms come with multiple beds + the pool is very hot

OnTheGoWithCarson Thank you, my wife and I spent a week at that hotel at the beginning of this month and we absolutely loved it. The facilities were wonderful, we enjoyed the food very much, it was very safe and the staff was incredible. Also, our room couldn’t have been better.

I stayed there when it was named The Grand, as part of the Avalon Hotels, and later when it was renamed NYX. I stayed on the lagoon side, which was modern, peaceful, and quiet. I got good service in the restaurant. The waiter put my champagne that I brought with me into an ice bucket stand at my table. I got a good excursion to Coco Bongo. There are better hotels, but the price is right.
So glad to hear you had a great experience! I unfortunately did not have that experience but I did stay a few years ago now so who knows what all has changed. But glad you had fun! :)

I honestly haven't been to Cancun enough to give good advice on which hotels are the best. I highly suggest looking on trip advisor. That's my go to to read customer reviews. It has been over a year since I've stayed at the Nyx hotel so it may totally be different now. I would still choose not to stay there though. Both my husband and I regretted not spending the extra money on a nicer place with good reviews.
Where did you book through also where did you find great place for air flight
I always book directly through the company or on my chase CC rewards. I don't like 3rd party booking because if there ever was something to go wrong you always have to work through the 3rd party.
We flew southwest but Cancun is pretty cheap to fly to in comparison to a lot of places around the world.

Wow!!! It is loud!!! You hit the nail on the head! And we are in building 8, which is the farthest away from that
hotel. If one lives for the blasting music come on down, because you WILL HEAR IT

I was there from Jan 01 to Jan 08 2018 and had a great time. We took the all inclusive and found the food to be fantastic. Our room was the supersaver so it was small but we booked last minute. Our bathroom was a fair size, 2 sections, with a large shower and I'm 6'4". Also the room was just renovated so that was a plus. We are going back next month but booked the master suite which also was renovated. Service was fantastic especially the on the beach. We almost always had our lunch brought to us. Yes there are some rooms that have haven't been updated but they will be. I like the fact that it's a small hotel. I would give it a 4 out of 5

I was there back in May and I honestly wouldn’t go back. It was acceptable and I was just glad to be there (my cousin paid for it bless her ❤️) but if I paid for the trip myself I wouldn’t go there. I will say we stayed on the cabanas basically the entire time and those were amazing.
