In sstf you explained 143-130=13 and 913-143=770 you have selected shortest value of sstf.suppose head node is 53 53-41=12,65-53=12 value common then what will do sstf disk scheduling algorithm?

what is use of 125

125 will be used to check the direction of head movement.since head is currently at 143...and previous was at 125..so the direction will be left to right...And use this direction only in Scan, C-scan,look,C-look.Please see my complete video to understand better..If you still have problem you can ask.

Ashish we need to add 4999-0 in c-scan because first we have to see the direction of head movement..In this question it is from left to right so you will consider 4999 also when you draw head movement in C-SCAN but not zero..Also remember If direction is from right to left you have consider zero but not 4999 when you draw head movement.
