Watching wrestling in Australia and taking an interest in wrestling in the USA over many decades, Jake the Snake Roberts was certainly one of my favourites. Right on the edge of being a believable character that had the crowd on edge. To bring a large python into the ring is a stroke of genius - took the character over the top into super status. I like the original one-offs like George the Animal Steele, Sting at his peak, Mark Lewin, early Hulk Hogan, Killer Carl Cox, King Curtis, Spiros Arion, Bulldog Brower, Vampiro, The original Shiek, Adrian Adonis, Tex McKenzie, Brute Bernard, the nature boy rick flair,
