This episode deserves an Emmy and a Bafta for this...Alice's writing/script...the acting, everything was phenomenal in this episode...if this doesn't win some awards I will be so disapointed.
That part in the Halloween party scene where Nick is looking into Tao's camera, imagining it's Charlie on the other side and says he loves him, meanwhile Billie Eilish's Blue plays in the background? CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE. Also Tara and Nick's friendship is so precious and I'm so glad we finally got to see more of it!
What an honest and beautiful reaction, Jay. I've lost count on how many times I already watched this episode, but watching it through your eyes was special. You did more than one beautiful comment about how deep and special this masterpiece is. You were also very connected to the story (as we all are) and it really shows here.
This episode has us all in tears! I wasn't feeling brave enough to watch it again but I wanted to see your reaction, and now you're crying and now I'm crying again LOL Tao comforting Nick is such a powerful scene, they've come a long way and now Nick being so vulnerable and Tao just being there for him, unconditionally... They dealt with such difficult, complex issues in their beautiful Heartstopper way. They did break us, but in a soft, comforting sort of way. They did brilliantly in every aspect, the writing, the acting, the music, the editing... It was perfect!
Alice, Kit and Joe said this is their favorite episode to date. It was so well done and what a roller coaster of emotions! Nick and Tao broke me…I was NOT prepared for that at all! I cry every single time I watch (which is daily, TBH)! Love your reactions so much!❤🍂🥰
I absolutely agree that this is the best episode of all three seasons to date. The screenplay, performances, editing, direction are top notch and even Charlie’s mum gets character development. And as heartbreaking as it is - I cried along with you and I’ve watched this episode several times already - I also genuinely think it will help save lives by destigmatising mental illness and encouraging people to ask for help. I also love the way it normalises platonic love between friends. It’s a fucking masterpiece. Thanks for such an emotionally open and honest reaction too - we need more men to be with their emotions. 19:33
Best episode ever!!!! Joe Locke and Kit Connor's acting, man... And yes, everytime Nick cries, I cry too 😭😭😭💔💔💔 Ps : Nick and Tao's friendship is everything, seriously... ❤ Ps : The video that Tao made for Charlie 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️ Ps : Kit dressed up as Captain America looks so much like Chris Evans, that's insane 😮
I fully agree that this is the best episode of the series so far, which doesn’t mean that all the other episodes aren’t wonderful as well. But this one is so brilliantly constructed and expertly acted that it really stands out as a superb piece of storytelling. And Joe is absolutely knocking it out of the ballpark with everything he does these days. You take this and what he does in Agatha All Along, and add to it all that people have said about his performance in Sweeney Todd on Broadway, and you have a remarkable string of successes.
I know Kit was saying in a interview the 4 first episodes are a little bit dark, he was so right but know it's getting up and funny Charlie's therapist is also amy whinhouse father in the movie back to black and nick is captain america and his aunt is captain carter 😅
As someone in the comments already mentioned My MVP for the episode would go to Geoff and Susan (and to all the other Amazing professionals out there), who are able to give Help, when your loved ones simply doesn't have the Knowledge and the Tools to. 🥰 (and not to gloss over the fact, (which Nick mentioned in the episode), that Charlie was priviledged to be able to go to a private facility).
Totally agree with you that it was the best episode so far. Loved how they did it from both perspectives. Loved you reaction to Tory saying Nick was her favourite. She was always going to love someone who adored her brother xxxx
God... the amount of tissues I needed watching this episode 😅😂 Cried again with you watching your reaction! Also agree with this episode being peak TV!
My guess is a character from a Jane Austen novel. He and Charlie watch a movie adaptation of Emma in Episode 2, so his costume may be inspired by Mr. Knightley.
Hii, loved your reaction as always. You should check out "my lady jane". It's a great series and I would love to hear what you have to say about that one.
This episode should be nominated for an Emmy.
Absolutely!
Absolutely x2
The scene where Tao comforts Nick goes straight to the heart,so well done... Sending you lots of warm hugs because we love you!!!💖🫂
One of the many well done scenes in this episode 😭😭
Love ya back!!!

Nick crying in Tao’s arms breaks me every time - but I also love it because it shows how far their friendship has come.

I cry every time I watch this episode. Nick crying just breaks my heart.
Gotta love a man who is so in touch with his emotions. You inspire me.

Honestly thought Chris Evans was making a cameo for a sec 😂😂

Love your sincere and heartfelt reaction!
Anyone know what Isaac’s Halloween costume was supposed to be?
My guess is a character from a Jane Austen novel. He and Charlie watch a movie adaptation of Emma in Episode 2, so his costume may be inspired by Mr. Knightley.
Favourite reaction from one of my fave reactors to one of the best HS episodes ever! Keep em coming ! ❤✋er rules!
💙💙💙
It may not be the episode that made me the most emotional, but it's definitely the best of them all.
