We all use these ikea shelves in UK for polishes and if you use good wall fixing when putting them up you can definitely put all those polishes on it! And at different heights, I did use double sided tape and 2x1inch & 2x2inch wood lengths, you can cut the wood to size. in UK you can buy the wood already painted white. And they come together lovely
Great vlog video! Regarding a way to tier your polishes, the first thing that came to my mind was a thick foam adhesive strip that you can inexpensively get on Amazon. They have different widths, lengths and thicknesses that you can buy, and and the best part is, they are available in all white, so you don't have to worry about painting or covering them up. Seems like a simple solution to me. I'll be watching for how you figure this out, since I have a similar situation with my Madam Glam polishes. I have a ton and I don't want to just stick them in a drawer. Thanks for always sharing your organization tips and tricks!

hey Talia, wood slats the length of the shelf will work. omit the slat on the 1st row, ad a wood slat with your desired thickness to the 2nd row and then just double the thickness for the 3rd row. If you cut them just right they will fit and be removable if you want to change the shelf use later on.

You are so organized I wish I was. I am a little but not like you. I don’t have the patience and I get bored. Thank you for sharing your room and the carts. I totally love the shelves- I have them myself- to tier them I bought cuts of flat mounding in different thickness so you make makeshift diy stairs for the polishes

I just conned my Dad in to building some extra shelves for me! The way we handled the tiered issue was just to cut a piece of wood the length of the shelf that is about 1/2 inch high. It raises it up JUST enough to show the tiers on each shelf. That way I can choose to have a single row, or if my collection continues to grow, and let's not pretend it won't, then I will have the extra storage space!

For your ikea shelves just get Steve to cut some long pieces of wood in different Heights then if your fussy about the colour difference paint them white and presto u have your different Heights
