In this video, I compare two of the NRS Type III PFDs I own: The NRS cVest and NRS Chinook. TLDR: Pick cVest if you want best visibility in low-light, dedicated VHF Radio pockets, better body contoured foam and slightly thinner high back design. Pick Chinook if you want massive amounts of very useful pockets and tabs (sans dedicated radio pocket), and a slightly cheaper price tag.

I believe you bought their newly released NRS Odyssey with Red/Orange color pattern... It looks like the only difference is the color scheme compared to the cVest. amzn.to/49g8NFT
