I have the same model and color and also had an issue with the switch. My switch was loose and was not properly connected, so I reached out to Thomann and they offered me store credit for having my switch replaced with a local luthier. I have 4 Harley Benton's and they all have their uniqueness but this one I seem to favor a lot too. It is a great guitar! Great review of the Aeolus, take care and hope to see more videos of this great guitar in action!
Thomann ended up sending me a new switch and that was it. I guess because they saw my video they felt that I could fix the switch myself which I did I have found though that since I have gotten this guitar I have not been able to put it down. I love the guitar. I have 5 Harley Benton's myself and purchased one for my daughter. I have been very happy with them for sure. Thanks for the comments. I will be releasing another video tomorrow. I have about 4 I'm working on right now.
This guitar I seem to keep playing. Since I fixed the issue and polished the frets it has been fantastic. I am really a fan of this guitar. Like you I have a lot of Harley Benton Guitars.
My son and I, we visited the Thoman shop in Bavaria. We bought for him exactely the same model. They had only one B-Stock at that time. The nut of that switch was twisted crookedly on the thread. The guitar looks georgous but it is pretty heavy.
I agree it is pretty heavy for a Hollowbody but since I fixed the nut and everything is playing beautifully. I love the guitar and it is on my standard rotation of my guitars. thanks for dropping a comment it is much appreciated.
It came to 7lb 12oz - It feels really solid. It is happens to be the one that I'm playing regularly out of my collections. I feel you can't go wrong with this guitar. Thank you for the question.
