They said calf and I heard tendon in the calf, the pain indicates damage, you push it, and it probably will tear and given his age end his career. I would assume it has the ability to heal as if it were stitched back together. I suspect he will get things he does not want to come out like steroids or other exotic healing treatments, you treat it like it tore and stitched and trying to heal the wound.
