2:00 it's only the Xbox evangelicals that believe this. It's the same thing with the 1st/3rd party distinction what matters is exclusive content but when you don't have that or it's not up to snuff you have to deflect. Xbox fans are like the kids on the playground with an everything proof shield. 3:17 Nevermind the fact that you'd be abandoning your established digital library to presumably rent games for the rest of the time you're using the console. 8:10 hard disagree about Aloy I feel like she's a stoic female character which we don't see a lot of in media in that way she's pretty unique. I'd much prefer that over her being quippy like Nathan Drake or Spider-Man.
I just can’t get into Aloy and her monotone delivery of every line of dialogue. The world and particularly the graphics of Forbidden West are the best I’ve seen this gen overall.
my first console was a sega mega drive my opinion the exclusive games matters that was one of the success of the xbox my reason for going to xbox in 2003 was KOTOR a star wars game that was exclusive to xbox i buy a lot of games btw for my xbox and have gp , i agree to with you
@Kopjekoffie980 I think that if you like the XB then not much will change that. Older people that are use to the exclusive/console thing have a hard time with it all but I’ve decided to not stress over any of it anymore. There are very real tangible benefits to XB over PS and vice versa.
With all the publishers MS has bought they can make a nice transition to a big 3rd party games company. I think they will always mark Hardware but I think they realized they lost that space as it is as you said why would someone buy an Xbox. One thing that baffled me is Game Pass on PC is 12.99 for day one releases but 19.99 on its own console. So they are even undercutting their own gamepass subs on Xbox. I think they positioning themselves like Netflix for games, they just announced a play anywhere campaign with game streaming, they are bringing over 1st party exclusives to PS5. Will we see Xbox Game Pass on PS6 like EA access and Ubisoft + I dunno but it looks like it is heading that way if they want to make back that 80 billion they spent!
@@WorryWartWorld Phil said it couple years ago, they lost the most important generation with the XBone. Broken clocks are bound to be right twice a day, he's a great speaker ill give him that. I was a HUGE Xbox fan stood in line 10 hours for my xb360 & I sold my xboxone for PS4 games. They've been way behind the 8-Ball for a long time. If Xbox was any other company they would have sold off all assets in 2015-2016. I believe Microsoft gave Phil a timeline to fix it or its Turing into full publisher 3rd party doubling the size of the others. He said they need 100+million subs by 2027. Were not that far away.

They have to put their games on Playstation. The 4 they just released sold more on Playstation then they ever did on xbox
Xbox is gonna Dreamcast themselves
They’ve never been as good as Sega even with all of Sega brain dead decisions!!!!
Xbox's strategy is it get their games on as many different devices as possible. They make way more money selling games than they do selling consoles.
Agree 100%
Really interested in what I may be “missing”? Seems like an odd strategy unless it ends with no hardware.

I sold my Xbox and bought a PC because of this.
Someday I think streaming will get rid of console it happens to music etc it's going to happen eventually
