Hi! I’m a new subie! I am in my mid 30’s. For the longest time, I didn’t know what to do with my life. A friend of mine suggested that I go into the beauty industry and become an esthetician because I am big on skincare and health. I think I’ve finally found my calling. I just do not know where I want to go to school for training or where to get my salon license. May someone give me some ideas? I am currently living in Colorado but I may be moving to Texas. Please help. Thanks in advance 😊

Love your channel. I, too get very inspired watching these type of videos. I also am a licensed cosmetologist, who have had my license for over 20+ yrs. I currently focus on lash extensions part time. I started my business back in 2018 and have been inconsistent since the pandemic. I’m really excited to develop and grow my business; while adding brow enhancements as well. So my main focus will be on eye enhancements. I do foresee a large spectrum of my business in 3 to 5 yrs. I just want to stay consistent and build a clientele that wants to enhance her beauty.

It just depends on what you want to do! Esthetics is skin only. Cosmetology is everything. Cosmology school is mostly hair but once you're licensed in most states you can do most things which is a great benefit. Cosmetology was best for me!💞
