This is, in my personal opinion, the BEST Gran Turismo 5 Trailer EVER. The epic intro matches so well with the adrenaline of the song. The drums and action shots are perfect. This is GOLDEN.

I come back every few years to watch this. I’m a filmmaker and this stuff, everything I’ve ever watch from video games, inspires me.
This is why as a forza fan i went out and bought a ps3 with gt5. i will never regret the decision as gt5 is amazing :D
Both forza motorsport 3 and gt5 were awesome games and while i personally prefered the arcadey handling of forza i also loved taking dodge chargers with my cousin and trying to drift them on custom gravel tracks in gran turismo.

I rewatched this trailer today and it made me feel really nostalgic. The best part was when I realized I was still able to remember the lyrics in the chorus from 1:55 to 2:07. That made my day.

GT5 was better than GT6, why? It had the Top Gear Test Track and actual challenges, no to forget it's simplicity, it made you feel liberated playing with friends and strangers. Now it's just pricks with their 5 hour tune tryharding on drift events and drag races
And Top Gear track go to Forza.

Not really. It may be better, but a million times is going too far.
Probably not a million times... The GT Sport intro has one of the most appealing cinematics (cuz its newer lol) , but the audio is obviously the problem. Just slap some Daiki Kasho behind it like others have done and you'll be surprised.
Both intros are better in their own ways, GT5 intro is more intense and adrenaline. GTS intro is represents history and beauty of motorsport, along with a beautiful cinematic intro

In terms of diversity of cars and variety of game modes, Gran Turismo 5 had it all.
the only thing probably missing was drag racing, off-roading, and demolition derby.

forza 4 is more of a simulation than forza 7
My favorite game in the series is GT4 by far, but this is probably the best intro Polyphony has ever made. Everything, from the cinematic shots to song choice to music sync is beautiful. 2:43 is something special.
I have the special edition box set of GT5. Still not opened. I went out and bought the game just so I didn't open it.

I remember I used to play the GT2 game on the PlayStation a long time ago, and I thought that game was cutting edge back then...imagine if I got my hands on this game back then, I would have been blown away by the graphics! Gran Turismo makes the best racing games along with Need For Speed franchise :)

This intro is the best, i just watched the whole intro often when i play GT5, now even i have my very same PS3 with all DLC downloaded is imposible to watch again the intro, you can't go to the video section anymore.... In the console this video is truly Full HD, here in TH-cam is so compressed that misses a lot of details.

@M4TRIXed they added more options for during replay, simple cockpit view for some basic cars, finally added remote play for B-Spec, and a few other things.

@elliotnicklin I don't think they pre-rendered them. Instead, what I think they did is actually played the game, but reworked the replay cameras to get the angles they wanted. They may have applied some filters, but this ain't pre-rendered.
