The Futurama theme song *SLAPS*
It's based on an old French tune from 1967 called Psyche Rock. Which indeed, I agree, SLAPS.
th-cam.com/video/TKz4qVmUz84/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=nightwatch01
Very true.
Hammer space is what it's called when a cartoon character pulls a prop seemingly from nowhere. It came from the hammer space. It's called this because a hammer is the most common item for a cartoon character to pull out of their ass. If I know the Futurama writers I would be willing to wager that they intended that bit as a reference to this trop of cartoon animation.
Most often in the form of an oversized mallet that there is no way they could have simply had concealed in their (often nonexistent) waistband.
Well, Matt's shows are satire.
Good to know.
You do realise Hermes destroying the box is him destroying universe 1 right? That's why everyone is panicking. The Proffesor didn't make a box with his own universe in it diid he? Do your fact checking man! *ding*
I think you mean universe A. Where Hermes A, is flying towards the sun … … A.
@@BlindMelonLord No, yeah, they're right: Hermes A is going to the sun . . . A to destroy the box with universe 1, which everyone else is in. Everyone's jumping INTO universe A, the one that's NOT being destroyed.
@@gabrieltraylor8888 Technically correct... The best kind of correct!
@@MarioSiragusa26 but I wasn’t the one who wrote Universe 1. You’re telling me to edit a comment I didn’t write.
in fact, none of the comments here that say Universe 1, (Aside from these 2 I just wrote), were written by me.
3:46 The real question is, where are they pulling those wallets from? Bender’s chest cavity is in the front, and they aren’t wearing pants with back pockets.
Stop staring at their shiny metal asses!
From his shiny metal ass!!
@@ryshow9118 Golden*
@@dylanaruto20 Gold is still metal :p
Bender knows well his own body, so he probably took it from his hidden glovebox
Just don't do the one with Fry's dog. I don't know if I could handle that
I have watched the full series dozens of times by now. I haven't seen Jurassic Bark in at least 15 years and I'm not going to start now.
It's like "Scott's Tots," but for the opposite reason
[Spoilers]
In case you didn't know, they retconned that episode in one of the films to make it not so sad. Hope that makes you feel better.
"Dog waiting for long gone owner cliche *ding*"
@@Mitharan23 I just saw it. I felt it so hard 😪
I mean, is it fair to use a Billy West outtake from futurama in futurama? The answer is yes. Also where's the sin off for Billy West?
Futurama is so good I love it.
And then sin TV comes in and fo BRRRREE
@@bigboiboob1821 touch grass
@@MilkBags69 can't, I'm allergic to it.
The Professor didn't say that the only difference between the universes was coin flips having opposite results. He said it was the key difference. There can still be other differences, like the characters naturally having different hair color.
This show is a masterpiece. Nothing can beat it.
Except absolutely everything else.
@@titanhades4331 not everything, maybe south park though
@@titanhades4331 lmao yea right
completely agree
1:52 The large mechanical box thingy is literally right there to the right in the second shot. Sure, the angles are weird, but you wrote the sin like you literally couldn't tell that they were supposed to be the same object viewed from different angles.
Thank you for covering one of the best episodes of my favorite show of all time.
Easily one of my favorite episodes. Was just entertaining on so many levels
0:16 actually what most people don't realize is that when God said not to take his name in vain, he didn't mean "don't explaim my name out in surprise" and shit lmfao I can't believe that's what people think.. what He meant was "don't you use my name to do evil things and then say it was my idea". So saying "God damn it!" in frustration isn't taking God's name in vain, saying "God hates gays" or saying "You should do what I say because it's what God would want, too" is taking God's name in vain. massacring villages literally in the name of your God is taking his name in vain. Stubbing your toe and shouting "Jesus Christ" isn't the same thing, not even close, because you're not using his name you're just saying it by itself. "In vain" means "for your own benefit", it means you're using his name for your own gain or to manipulate other people.
Thank you for pointing this vital distinction out.
Now do the spinoff episode "Everybody Loves Hypnotoad"! 🤣
Okay, 20 minutes of a flat buzz pnly extends so far...
It's nice to see random episodes of shows being covered. Especially Fututama, thanks! 👍😊
What's the problem if Fry's carrying around a well-sealed container of butter?
"What coin flip is responsible for Fry's hair being a different color"? Does the episode not explain this? Even if it didn't, it's painfully obvious- he flipped a coin and decided to dye it.
This reminded me of when I drew a little dumb stick-figure comic (even though I could draw really well) for my friends in high school, but I drew in different colored ink pens, and I ran out of the blue I used for a character's hair so I had an intermission comic where they broke the 4th wall and the other character was explaining that we had amazing new color technology and could change their hair color any time, and he used a remote to change the other character's hair to a bunch of different colors, and he freaked out, and then at the end we let him have a green-blue that was almost like the old one. And that was supposed to be my cover up for running out of that one pen lmfao...
@@-desertpackrat I use to make my own comics for friends too and they always loved them(they weren't amazingly drawn or anything I just loved doing funny stuff with a character that's me (caveman my nickname) basically. CAVEMAN comics ! . I'm feeling nostalgic now haha
the real question is what coin flip led to zoidberg being blue
@@genevieve3467 maybe it was his mother choosing her partner
4:09 According to the deleted scenes, it was his mom buying him a jacket.
Can we acknowledge the parallel universe feels like what the characters were supposed to look like. Because they feel too natural looking.
Red head Leela fueled a different type of curiosity on rule 34
Is there someone who refers to Futurama by the episode titles? Because I use "the one with the bees", "the one Bender becomes wooden", "the one with the box"
It never occurred to me to call them anything other than their actual titles 🤣
"Oh, Lord, he's made of wood."
I just had to quote that for no particular reason. Because it's so damn funny.
So why not just call the show “the one that’s set in the future”?
They're a delivery company what do u mean the one with a box
I would love to see the episode The devils hands are idle playthings since it’s my favorite episode in the entire series
Can't sin perfection. That episode is just too damn good.
@@LastHamurai they proved that wrong when they sinned the rains of castemere
hell MeeToo it to death so i dont wan to see it
TVSins, Futurama: Reincarnation is a must!
Also Crisis on Infinite Earths (this would have to be at least a two-part video)
And don't forget the most-watch TV finale of all time: M*A*S*H - Goodbye, Farewell and Amen.
There are more intelligent, well written, and emotionally moving episodes of Futurama I'll admit. But I have to say for some reason this episode is my personal favorite. ^_^
Finally, they're more Futurama episodes
"Fryla" is a word i didn't know i needed until today. Miss you Futurama!
I hate the fact you sinning one of my favorite shows of all time, but I admire your ambition to find fault in perfection.
There's something about this episode I love.... well, the whole show really ;)
I used to love CinemaSins
Nowadays 50% of the sins make no sense and the other 50% are wrong because they just dont listen or even watch what they're sinning!
and this new guy just isn't like Jeramy he's just not as fun
or theyll add in the woke agenda stuff too to add more sins
simpsons, futrerama, youre doing all of them
The parabox situation would have probably been easier to understand (and less buttery) if the sometimes disappearing large mechanical box thingy was the box in which one was allowed to access all of those multiple universes.
Please do the Problem Solverz. There are a LOT of things wrong with that show
The aesthetic was awful and I felt like I was on a bad trip.
If you got a problem
Yo I'll solve it
Check out the Sins
As Jeremy calls em
My favorite episode of Futurama.
Why did you not add or remove a sin (I can't decide which, just flip a coin) for the double-inverted box tug?
Fun fact: "double-inverted box tug" is what Jeremy called his college ex girlfriend.
Ah, finally, another _Futurama_ sins video. Not only that, but one of my favorite episodes. I should've checked back on this channel sooner.
Now you have to do Luck of the Fryish and Jurassic Bark!
You know you watch too much cinemasins when you start sinning movies yourself
I would love to see you sin an episode of cinema sins sins. So an episode of cinema sins sins sins
Yes, keep on doing Futurama
Oh my goodness, that last outtake was PERFECT!!! Excellent one there, CinemaSins crew!! XD
More futuresins please
No sins off for Farnsworth using a hammer on a crab? For shame...
Loved the weird al/shmoyoho "who's it gonna be" out take
I see TVSins stretches for sins harder than CinemaSins
The greatest animated show, no debate
So "Rick and Morty", "South Park", "Simpson's" and "Ren and Stimpy" don't exist in your universe? Neat.
Chris Beaty something with the nostalgia value added to this one puts it on top
In that universe, Matt Groening came from Boston, Oregon.
"What's in the box?!!!" Brad Pitt
Best episode of Futurama!
7:04 "People don't care about this, they want hard hitting stories and in-depth coverage"
5:20 As far as I can remember, he doesn't actually claim to have created the other universes. He claims that he only created the boxes that are somehow able to contain said universes.
In defines of self-narration... I do it all the time. Just causally narrating what I'm doing, especially tasks with a lot of steps, because it helps me work through it, lol.
Did you replace the double Bender "DOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!" as part of the audio takeouts? Oh, that's definitely a sin.
My thoughts exactly
I've not watched CinemaSins in a while and this "new" voice is freaking me out!
This is just the dude that does tvsins. The original guy still does cinemasins
@@fivenightsofben6096 Gotcha!
1:55 VAR Decision no sin the box didn’t go away
You should do the first episode of smallville or one of the episodes
I think it’s only fair that if you sin an episode of Futurama you also sin (or unsin) that episode’s DVD commentary, they are delightful.
its a shame we never saw the cowboy parallel universe from Futurama from the earlier episode I dated a robot
Ngl, little disappointed you missed the planet express wall being the wrong color when Leela leans into the box for the first time
5:00 - "Yakety Sax" wasn't playing during this scene -- DING!
So later in the series when universe A’s Fry and Lela get together do universe B’s couple get divorced?
No, well unless Lela flipped another coin
Well if ya want to get technical the B universe Lela would of never had to flip the coin that universe A Lela did because she lives a completely different set of circumstances after the first coin flip she did to marry Fry.
@@mrdarber1461 Really wanted A spin off setting in Universe B.
It not be a Sins video without "Tommy, how's the peeping?".
No joke, this is one of my favorite episodes ever.
Finally another Futurama episode!!
Top 10 episode of Futurama for me.
“The box, says ‘No...’”
I'm sorry. I miss Jeremy. Cinema sins voice rocks.
The large mechanical box thingy sin needs to be removed; it's a perspective trick because the sticker on the side of it is visible in both shots. Then you can add the sin back because the sticker has moved.
I love that show.
Great use of the Weird Al from the Debates Video!
Really no sin off or even mention of the AMAZING way Hermès says “mmm ok” when asked not to kill everyone.
3:42 Legit made me laugh out loud, hot
damn
Man I'd love to see a tv sins spot for Samurai Jack. Such a great show
whoa this episode was literally on tv last night where i live
Man it's been forever since i've seen futurama
I miss this show sooo much!!
we need a playlist
There is also a sin when Leela comes through the box in the parallel universe for the first time and the walls are blue but magically turn back to red in the next scene.
Literally watched this episode last night
Sin #1 They survive it in so many episodes they even make a self aware reference to not hitting it in an episode. So shouldn't there be more sins for the repetition, and at least that episode when sinned getting a bonus for the awareness joke?
Narrator sounds like a guest star's head in one of those jars.
5:20
reminds me of Myst, and the truth about the linking books.
A novice linking book author may fool themself thinking they are actually creating the age (world) they describe.
But the truth is that they simply describe of one infinite many ages, creating the linking book.
Going by that logic. Fathworth did not create that universe, it had always existed. He just mistakenly thought he had created it.
Need more Futurama
More Futurama
Do more Futurama videos!!!!!!
The parodoxical implications of this are insane, ESPECIALLY at the end, if you were to grab that box that contains the universe inside of itself, and then throw it into the sun, then the entire universe would supposedly be incinerated and turn into ash, but there is no universe for the ash to exist in, and there is no universe or time itself to destroy the universe in, and another thing; how would burning the box have destroyed the universe if the box contains the universe, but it isn't the universe itself, what i mean is that how would the actual most of the universe part of the universe burn
Just remember, in universe b there's a good chance the Falcons won super bowl 51
I'm surprised it was a sin how the arm grabs the box of their own universe and bring it through the box
6:47 Thaaaank you.
if coin flips have the opposite effect, what happens in the other universe if in the main one the coin lands on its side?
I need coffee. Drug addiction :D:D:D:D Futurama is my favorite show, but you are just great, sir!
Oh how I love cinemasins/Tvsins and their nitpicking
As a tvsins defender I above of this message
How did you miss the inconsistent coloring of Universe-1 Planet Express interior? Compare 2:56 to 3:14
YESS FUTURAMA DO MORE FUTURAAMA
Common misconception about this episode... Farnsworth says the *key* difference is coin flip outcomes, not the *only* difference. A coin flip wouldn't change the colour of the sky. Though, that's a sin for the show not being more clear on it.
Sin "Grilled Cheese Deluxe" from Regular Show next
Getting the brain out was the easy part. The hard part was getting the brain OUT.
I remember this episode
The guy doing the sins kind of sounds like elfo from disenchantment
There is usually a hole in the sleeve so you can put it on
The Butterfly Effect has been scientifically disproven. Turns out it's just as believable as I can't believe it's not butter.
I miss this show so much gone too soon.
Do the Futurama episode "300 Big Boys", its fantastic !
