Full disclosure: When this popped up on my recommendations, I read the title and came in fully prepared to write a comment condemning it, because I had assumed it would be like "Be practical, get your head out of the clouds", and pursuing a dream is so hard as it is. BOY, was I wrong. This is wonderful, and exactly what I think a lot of us need to hear. Thank you.
I love this podcast ❤️ I was wondering why the title said give up on your dreams, but I after watching I think it's rather give up goals that are not authentic to you. My dreams are something that I will chase for the right reasons, because that makes me happy.
Totally amazes me these people who's lives (though not always smoothly) fall into place. I have never had any aspect of life fall into place. Constant internal struggle and external chaos.
Very cool explanation of your journey. I particularly like how you found that you and Thought Catalogue could mutually benefit each other in your similar passions 🙂🙂
I feel like crying, this resonates so much with me. I really appreciate you for sharing your thoughts and experiences with us because you’re right, the world does need our unique talents and you are a wonderful example. Thank you. 💛
Thank you so much for vulnerability and sharing this story and the lessons. Sending so much love and peace. I'm also making a leap to be creative from a scientific degree I graduated with. Here're are two resources I highly recommend for navigating career choices (which have quite high inaccuracy)" 1. Careerexplorer test; most comprehensible career aptitude test on the Internet, tells you career paths and degrees you're highly compatible with. 2. Know your MBTI and search careers for that type; e.g. go to 16personalities, find type and search for compatible careers for it on Indeed for it.
Salman, thank. you so much for sharing 🤗 We love hearing from our subscribers! Feel free to check out more episodes of In Your Feelings & let us know what you’d like to hear about in future episodes. 💓
" Chase the fearful things" That hit a nerve. Wow.
You are such a angel. Thank you
