Big Denver my brother Maurice Evans was the national minister of music of our organization at the time of this video and he tried to uphold the teaching and the instructions of our leaders about the dress code especially when it comes to the musical Department. My brother encouraged and led by example in his own attire for the others to do the same oftentimes we ask of things and we don't lead by examples. God's house is for service and not for gigs. That's where the outside attire comes from hats in Church sitting backwards, sagging jeans, t-shirts and chains is unbeknownst to the Holiness Church but we have adopted it. Until someone stands for something it will become the norm. For us that's not the norm suits and ties are the norm. I love my church!
Kimberly Evans churches should train its young ppl on music so that we don’t have to use unsaved not in church folk to be a musician. How can you be a musician in the church if you’re not anointed? I live in jax fl, and this is a problem in the Deep South I noticed. I used to go to house of god #5, pastor minniefield.
Kamaria LunaDevi I know who Pastor Minnifield is. Yes we do need anointed spirit filled musician to raised up in our own local congregation. I believe in having your own. Why invest in someone else from the outside. My pastor Apostle R C Woods, Jr. here in Brooklyn, NY that I had growing up prayed a prayer continuously that God would raise up musician in OUR own church so he won't have to pay outsiders. At the same time he anointed the hands of the young people that had a desire and asked God to give them the gift to play music in His House. Meanwhile my Pastor preached, taught and instructed the importance of the Holy Ghost. It makes a difference when a musician is truly spirit filled while playing.
