I'm missing one fish in Ancash Canyon and cant seem to find it...I think its the yellow duckling, as I have already caught the whale stomach and the dolphine. Any suggestions? Also, I havent quite understood what fishing is actually for. What can I do with it? I can't seem to be able to sell the fish on the market so what's the reason behind fishing other than achievements?
You'll have better chance with the better bait, but all can be caught with the basic bait. Some fish can be consumed for buffs which help in differnt type of content.
Do you have to be a certain level to fish? When I first got the trade skills quest, I went over and talked to the NPC but he didn't offer me any quest or dialogue.
And what to do with the fishes ? There are some that have buffs, so I use them. The rest have a description saying something like "Only available during Ancash event", but you can't use it or anything, so you must just sell them ??
@@Anubis-Barstikar yea you have to just sell fish or use them for now. You can get some pretty good buffs from them! Make sure you use up the fish for that event before you sell it. I believe there was a few quests to turn those in, but you’re able to overfish it!

Definitely hold onto them, some are fantastic QoL and some are genuinely good combat buffs. Worth to just hold and then bank later down the line.

Better baits in general get more conches. It’s pretty much luck. I bet there will be events for it in the future
