A Trip to Our Local Feed Store! Smokeneck!

We just love our local feedstore here in Southside! We took care of our chickens and then headed off to one of our favorite places. Also, we have some exciting news to share with you!!
Finally Home in Bama is a small one acre Homestead in a small city in Northern Alabama. A small backyard Nursery is one of the Resources we are developing to further our dream of becoming self-reliant in our Homesteading endeavors. Our goal in the near future is to provide plants & cut flower arrangements for our local Farmer's Markets. Growing increasingly more of our own food as possible is our goal. We have done canning of our food for many years. We plan to incorporate many other methods of preserving as the years go by such as: fermenting, dehydrating & root cellar Storage.
